After going through this thread for the past few days, I finally decided to post. We owned a Sierra from 1998 to 2007. Mine was a 94' NA model. My sentiments are the same as the other guys in this thread. I absolutely loved My Sierra. There may be newer SUVs like the Safari and Scorpio today but none and I mean none have the character that the Sierra came with. My dad loved it, my mom, brother and my dog loved it. He would actually sit comfortably in the space between the front and rear seat. And if you folded the rear seat its nothing short of a double bed.

My Sierra did have its share of niggling problems but we didnt mind. It was THE car to bully rickshaws on the road. Everyone would give way to you . The comfort and ride quality even puts some other cars of today to shame. Never once did I feel tired after a long journey. It was a mile muncher to the true sense of the word. The bumpers were really strong compared to those on the SUVs we have today. Towards the end of it time with us, it started having wierd heating problems and getting good PUC readings were a problem. We eventually sold it in 2007 for just 35k and we still havent bought a replacement for dad yet.

Fond memories I have of this car. Here are some pictures of MH02-N-8269 for all to see.

This is one thing in common with everyone who has experienced the sierra. Fond Memories and thats what's important.

Dippy,

I need an advise from your side to sort out an issue for my Sierra Turbo, since i thought u r the right person to help me... While going long journeys with AC, temprature is showing very high. Then i ll turn off the AC for somewhile and the temprature comes down. Thermostat/ Fan everything is working fine, donno any issue with the water pump or something...

Awaiting for reply...

Hey Aditya.. yeah i will do that when i will go for a repaint as i am not sure how old the sticker is and if i pull that out it might look as a patch there.

Ur Bull looks pretty cool dude!!!

There is no need to worry about the patches. The team-bhp stickers are here. Wat else does one need.

Thanks Sunil for the compliments. Its really cool to hear the good comments about your car from someone , which will indirectly motivate you to keep your car maintained.

Clean the AC condensor, if it is blocked, it overloads the engine leading to overheating issues!

Use Petrol to wipe the patch off! Kerosene works better!

Hey Sunil

Please share whats the outcome of your A/C issue, so that in case anyone come across the same they can easily identify this.
