The I 20 looks awesome indeed. With the peppy Hyundai engines and amazing ***, I guess Hyundai is all set to rock. Cant wait for the launch of the I 20.

I suppose it should be launched by year end. Well seeing the response of i10 this one would be eye catcher too. Hyundai needed this platform since long to retain their image in Asian market.

Absolutely stunning design! and very original. This is the 3rd product of their new European Design Studio in Germany after the i-10 and the i-30. Finally looks like Hyundai can stop copying and put out stuff that other people are willing to be flattered.

Also in the works is their brand new in house 1.6 liter CRDi.

I expect Nov launch. Pricing would be a major factor for this one. I think prices would start from 5 lacs. But i hope Hyundai does launch a 1.2 or 1.3 CRDI for this one . It would surely give Swift some competition then.

@Harsh- I think 1.5 CRDI would be sold when launched in Nov.

Hey Folks in curosity of I20 we have forgotten about the new Verna.

Any news about the same. Hyundai must be having sleepless nights after New Ford Fiesta, Know City and Linea on the line.

There is just one weakness in the design! The front could have been a little aggressive. Considering the confident stance, the highwaistline and sharp lines a more aggresive front would have made it look wicked!

The front was were Hyundai chickened out. I am sure it has to do with most people (and esp indians) prefering a smling/non aggresive grille! Pretty understandable

The Interiors are not very inspiring IMO, the steering resembles the civic I think hyundai definitely took clue from Honda guys.

What a shame man! They have copied the CIVIC steering. Thank goodness they did not copy the CIVIC multiplex meters

The i20 looks really good. Must say that it comes across as a wide car. Hope they price it in SWIFT territory and not FABIA territory

All Hyundai CRDis have been 88bhp and above, they havent sold a card with a detuned engine so far. It is the Ford, Skoda, Maruti and Fiat that have brought 68-70bhp engines into the country.

So if the 1.6 is out it will hopefully be the full 126bhp version - and we thought the Getz was a pocket-rocket?

I saw an i-20 test car an hour ago on NH-5 returning from Bangalore. Why are they still testing this car?. I presume a launch date is near.
