Nice scoop!! Yup, with ABS, Vdi, etc., and with good pricing, these two will rock the market for sure!

P.S.: Splash's speedo is a rip-off of the Fiat 500 cinquecento, isn't it?!

Did anyone notice the old school door handles on the A star?? (was also mentioned in OD) cost cutting? In high probability this car would be slotted between the Alto and the Estilo/Wagon R and Splash between Swift and Dzire?

The most confusing part is how is MSIL gonna position these cars.
My guess is Splash take over the reigns of Wagon R. A-star placed
between Alto & Zen. Maybe Cervo can be the Alto replacement.
Should be interesting to see how MSIL position it. The A star
though is no where close to concept. Expect some aggresive
styling for the A Star. Anyways MSIL seem to be going the right
way with these launches ahead.

These interiors are yuck!

If these are of the A-star and it is priced around the Alto, it is probably fine. But if these are Splash interiors, God save them.

Those are of the A-star blue_pulsar. The splash has better interiors.

The A-star has a tacho !! I seriously doubt it, even the swift lxi dosen't have one . Also this pod-style tacho is common in all splash models abroad

Horrifyingly ugly interiors; "Designed in India" indeed :-(. Decent exteriors. Now let's wait and see which, if any, models get discontinued when these cars are launched.

The wiper position gives away that the interior is of a-star. Even if that is the case, cant see how it will compete with i10.

that could be the top end variant. Since the tacho is a pod typ imagine how easy it is to have a lower end variant without a tacho. they don't have to manufacture 2 instrument consoles for low and high variants.

The Alto VXi, WagonR VXi and Zen Estilo Vxi all have tachos. Those interiors are the A-star's without doubt.

Guys remember these are pre-production test mules. They may not have the final interior finish. Let's reserve judgment when the cars come out.

Fantastic scoop. Splash with VDI+ABS will replace which car/ which price point? i10 killer?

That said, I think its completely incorrect to watermark pictures or rehost them here. Its been taken from orkut from a Delhi guy - neither has he given permission to host on teambhp or to watermark with teambhp itself. This is a clear case of US violating someone elses' IPR. Don't we all get pissed with someone reproducing a BHPian's scoop pics on another site?

Looks like top end since an integrated CD player is also seen in the pic.

Fantastic find. The cars really look great. Nice to see the topline Splash is going to be feature-rich. Sure the diesel version is going to be a hot hatch.

Upon close look, I found the interiors shown are of 'A-star' and not the Splash. You can identify by the white papers placed on the dash visible both internally and externally in 'A-Star'
