I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Shell Petrol Pump insert in my newspaper this morning.

Never imagined in my wildest dreams that Petrol Pumps would be advertising -- that too through newspaper inserts

.

Here are the prices:

Petrol: 59.95/L
Diesel: 45.45/L

Shell has to advertise. Before they had loyal customers. But when they increased the rates, everybody left, and to get them back, advertisement is needed.

This leaflet looks like it more from the bunk owners side than from Shell itself. If it was from Shell they would have mentioned all their bunks.

Confirmed - Shell diesel is 45.45 per litre. Just filled 22 litres for Rs. 1000 (at the outlet close to Hoodi Circle). Now only slightly expensive but hopefully good quality and most importantly, Shell almost always never runs out of stock.

All petrol sold in bangalore is 91 octane.

Do you mean the normal petrol available is also 91 octane? I thought that normal petrol is 87 octane and reason Speed and other premium petrols are costlier is because of their higher octane content and added additives. Can someone pls comment?

Shell petrol is 91 Octane whether Normal or Premium.

Even normal fuel is 91 octane. Speed & others are costlier because they have a number of additives in them
