I think it'll sell very well. The 500 is perceived as a premium brand, and at 13 lakhs they dont need to do large volumes.
It'll be a halo car, and drive the sales of its less expensive brethren.
Who cares if it's a beetle copy - it's undeniably cute. The Abarth version Rocks !

Its a old FIAT 500 based model,The older one had a 479CC engine too, how the heck did beetle come in?!?

Plus this car is for the keepers, can customise almost everything about the interiors & its not mass sale.

Yes, this would for those who want it as a collector's item.

Just hope.. it was priced lower.. so that some other people (like me) could afford it. :)

A small FIAT car for 13L in India. Again FIAT is interested in selling it to few guys on this forum only it seems :).

As the article states, this car is a Lifestyle car, may appeal to folks like Bollywood Actors/Actress etc.

Wow, so after failing to woo Indian general public, FIAT it trying to get few bollywood customers.But the bollywood guys are rich enough by IPL cricket team(for millions of $), so, I guess TV serial saas-bahu 's are the right candidate for this car.

That's what it's a copy of....no Beetle/Bug/Mini Cooper here...
Its FIAT's project or recuurecting the old FIAT Cinqecento which had a 479CC rear engine...

I dont think it should be priced that high. I guess we shoud see it around 6.5-9 lakhs (basis of the guess is the prices abroad, i might be wrong)
I hope the official price is lower, coz there more fan following for millicento ( old gen FIAT 1100 )than Cinqecento
