Ohhhh BTW, Saw Sumo Grande first hand.... The front looks really big and tall... Bonnet part.... interiors are a bit good than old Sumo but still quality wise wayyyyyyyyyyyy back..... Overall compared with outgoing Sumo, seems surprisingly fresh..

But this sounds a bit different from what has been told earlier about NG by the Ferrari agent. Or am I wrong?

Journos set off to discover magical India in 74 days
TIMES NEWS NETWORK

Mumbai: Fifty-seven cities, 74 days on road, 13,220 km and 10 cars.
Journalists from across the world took off on a discovery trail of India as the Ferrari Magic India Discovery Drive was flagged off from the city on Wednesday. The tour—the first such adventure taken up by an automobile company in the country—was inaugurated by chairman of Tata Group Ratan Tata and vice-chairman of Fiat Group John Elkann. Offering the event a befitting start, the Air India building at Nariman Point was dressed in Ferrari red along with the logo of the prancing horse, a symbol of power and a motif of an Italian fighter from World War II.
Two 612 Scagliettis—Ferrari’s flagship GT model—and eight other Tata and Fiat cars will make its way through the country, first in the southern direction along the Arabian coast up to Thiruvananthapuram and then up north to the Indo-Pak frontier along the eastern coast. The discovery drive will come a full circle on May 8 after the fleet comes back to the city, passing through Rajasthan.
Apart from the journalists, who will be alternating at the wheel, there will be a technical assistance and logistics team for the entire duration of the tour. The team will wear colonial-style khakis to protect themselves from the blazing sun. “The Magic India Discovery Drive is a unique challenge. The tour is about discovering this beautiful country and our cars,’’ said David Kluzer, the spokesperson for Ferrari.
To adapt to Indian roads, the Ferraris have been modified—an underbody protector has been fitted to strengthen the base of the car and the suspension setting has been raised to tackle tougher roads. Even the flag-off of the tour got an Indian touch with a Hindu priest breaking an auspicious coconut before the cars sped off, leaving a dusty trail behind.
Asked if the Magic India Discovery Drive symbolised Ferrari’s entry into the Indian market, Kluzer said, “The tour is not related to an official announcement of us entering the market. However, in the new season of Formula 1, there will be an Indian team for the first time.’’
Ferrari had undertaken a similar 15,000 Red Miles Tour in China in 2005 and Pan-American 20,000 tour of the Americas in 2006.
