Check more and you will see it is registered to the same person at both places. Anyways this is not a distress sale and she will stay with me until someone seriously interested comes around.

Do you mean to say you are the 1st owner who sold the car to a person in Karunagapally and then bought it back from him when you moved to Nilambur? If so, I truly appreciate the attachment you have for your car.

The new shape M800 was launched in June 1986 and not end 1986.
In 1990 old shape 800s, standard versions were getting sold for Rs 65000 and I saw a green coloured new shape 1987 model. getting sold for Rs 75000 at a secon hand car dealer's place in Kaloor.

The first owner of the car is Mr.C.Krishnakumar s/o Chandrashekharan Nair, the second owner is Mr.Sasidharan Nair s/o Achuthan nair
third owner is Mr.Premakumaran Pillai which I assume is your name and it is also correct that your name is found in 2 rtos .But still you are are the Third owner and not second as claimed by you.

I am just amazed at the traction this thread has created for SS80, a month back became a proud owner of SS80 1984 std model, I am doing up everything in the car and the painting has just finished. I will post the pic soon.
I need help from the experts and the senior Bhpians here pls..... the car does not have the dicky shocks and the steel beading in the front glass, I just got a stanley sealed beam yesterday and in a good condition, I picked it up for Rs 1,500/-. I am also thinking of fitting a A/C from a 93 maruti, is it advisable to do it pls advice.. I will come back with more query and some help on spares and sure the forum here will be of immense help.

Nice to hear that you own a SS80 now. Post pictures and also during the restoration phase in a stage wise manner so that many are benefited.

It has been a hell for me to run around the tinkers and painters every day and to put her in a shape most of the work is complete and would soon roll out here is one pic will post some more, I am in look out for a new dashboard, the dashboard box in my car is broken and if anyone in the forum can help me with ideas to fix it. I am also looking for monongram of Maruti and the numerical 800.
