While the Dark edition is a welcome change, it still won't help them sell the cars.

1. They need to start advertising their cars.
2. Add cruise control to AT variants.
3. Add sunroof to all models.
4. Compare features with a feature rich car and see what is missing and the price-point at which it is being offered.

That amt gearbox layout looks cheap and outdated both in terms of design and plastic quality

Although Citroen did a great job with the Dark Edition, I don't think it will help them increase the sales. Instead, they could provide service maintenance packages and 10-year extended warranties if they want to boost sales.

Not just that, I heard their Bangalore Sales Consultant Karthik gives some major 'French Attitude' to customers. They can only WIN with pleasant service.

Product is excellent!

Re: A Close Look | Dark Editions of the Citroen Basalt, C3 & Aircross

Love the cars, but this isn't going to work for Citroen. Limited editions are usually offered on top variants with all the features to make the customer feel special. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, Citroen's top variants are missing a lot of features. A better approach would have been to first update the existing models with the critical missing features - ventilated seats, cruise control, 360 camera - at a bare minimum, and THEN come out with a dark edition on this top-of-the-line model.

I frankly do not see this dark edition driving volumes, and if there is no upgrade/refresh by Oct-Nov, or they mess up the features, I seriously doubt they are going to survive another year in India. Speaking as a prospective customer who has been waiting over a year to purchase the Aircross- it is the mere absence of cruise control that is stopping me. I am even willing to shell out a reasonable amount for the 3 features mentioned above (as are so many others), but it seems Citroen just doesn't want to listen to its Indian audience

At this point, I'm just ranting, but who in their right mind unveils a special edition involving a well-known brand ambassador AT A CLOSED EVENT when one of their major issues in India is lack of marketing and brand awareness?!! And at 200-odd units each every month, EVERY edition of the Aircross/Basalt/C3 combo is already a limited edition, so how many more cars do they plan to sell monthly with this stunt? 3? 5? 10? Your guess is as good as mine

They have shut down and Landmark has taken over. One friend happen to enquire with the Sanpada Showroom and they are selling their stock at mouth watering price. 2024 brand new Basalt top variant Manual Turbo Petrol @ 11 Lakhs all inclusive. Then many Aircross at almost 60% of the cost. They sold off AT variants again at 60% of the cost. Let's see how Landmark fairs with Citreon.

I live in Hyderabad and have not seen a single Basalt to this date. Not sure if these dark editions will improve the sales numbers. Tough days ahead for this brand
