Lexus has launched the 2025 LX 500d in India. The brand’s flagship SUV is available in two variants: Urban and Overtrail, priced at Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.12 crore (ex-showroom), respectively.



The Lexus LX 500d was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The SUV is based on a ladder frame chassis that is said to be lightweight yet highly rigid.

The new Overtrail variant comes in the Moon Desert exterior colour with a black grille, grey aluminium wheels and fog lamp covers, roof rails, door moldings, wheel arch moldings, door handles and ORVMs in a black finish. It has a Khaki interior with a unique Overtrail Monolith colour scheme and Ash Open Pore Sumi Black trim.



The latest iteration of the LX 500d comes equipped with a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, an 8-way power adjustable passenger seat, heated and ventilated seats with massage function, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen drive dynamics controller.

Other features include 4-zone automatic climate control, Mark Levinson 25-speaker audio system, rear seat entertainment package with 11.5-inch touchscreens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Multi Terrain Monitor, Active Noise Control, 5 drive modes: Normal, Eco, Comfor, Sport S, and Sport S+, and Lexus Safety System +3.0.

Under the bonnet is a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine that produces 304 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 700 Nm @ 1,600-2,600 rpm. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system. The SUV gets a centre-locking differential as standard, while front and rear locking differentials are offered on the Overtrail variant. It also has adaptive suspension with Active Height Control.
