Mahindra is likely to launch the Scorpio N Black Edition in India soon. The SUV was recently spotted at a dealer yard, revealing all the changes made to it as part of the update.

IMO brown interior was looking way better than black. They could have added 360 degree camera and a panoramic roof. These 2 features are only missing in ScorpioN. My brother has a scorpioN w8 2WD. It’s a great vehicle in that price range.

Spot on! Couldn’t agree more.

But I think they’re saving these 2 features for the facelift, if and when that happens! The Thar & XUV700 still haven’t been facelifted; & M&M unlike the Koreans won’t move a thing for one of their best selling model.

Here comes the Kadaknath version of Scorpio N.

Jokes apart, I feel it's too much overly done. Dusting/Maintenance looks like a nightmare.

Let's see how the sales perform.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition spied ahead of launch

I used to like black exterior color about 5 years back. I liked Harrier #Dark when it was released. Since then the average temperatures are rising and this year it feels like summer is coming sooner than expected.

Black cars look cool, but get really hot when you have to park out in the summer scorching sun at times. The black interior seats become even hotter giving unneeded heated treatment to entire back and legs in the summer sun when people want to be cooled off. My current car has black seats and family members are not inclined towards black anymore to escape the heat treatment.

I might be a minority who feels that all Black exterior and interior (black grille, black alloys, black seats, black headliner) feels too monotonous after some point in time. These all black cars do not reflect lot of light and might be dangerous to encounter on highways where not enough street lighting is available.

The slogan "And Daddy says, let there be dark." does not entice sense of class and elegance, but kind of instills fear.

I am missing classy ads that Mahindra and Tata used to have about a decade back. "Live young live free" was emotion, "Make your own road" of Tata Safari, "Nothing else will do" for OG Scorpio.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition spied ahead of launch

I an absolute sucker for black interiors and especially a back roof liner to go with it.

This looks smashing, although in terms of feel good factor the Harrier is still far ahead on the inside

Lol, chill out.
There's a demand for mafia-spec/intimidating cars in the market now. They're simply catering to that niche.

Can't blame a manufacturer for catering to demand, it is business after all.

Times have changed too. Can't expect an SUV to be marketed the way a electric hatchback would be, and vice versa.

They know their customer base very well and addressing the group. Also, this is the evolution from "make your own road" to "daddy" of the roads.

Hello Team members Just took delivery of Scorpio N Carbon edition . Posting photos of the dark bits and pieces over here as the regular Scorpio has been already discussed in detail. Have driven her for about 500 kms and the dark theme is starting to intimidate me even further .
