JLR has launched the 2025 edition of the made-in-India Range Rover Sport. The premium SUV is available in the Dynamic HSE trim, priced at Rs 1.45 crore (ex-showroom).



The 2024 Range Rover Sport was available in the Dynamic SE trim. With the higher-spec Dynamic HSE variant, customers get perforated semi-aniline leather upholstery, winged headrests, and front seats with massage function. The SUV also gets adaptive LED headlights, a head-up display, and auto-parking assist.



The 2025 edition of the Range Rover Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol engine producing 394 BHP and 550 Nm and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel that makes 346 BHP and 700 Nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system.



The new Range Rover Sport is available in five colour options: Fuji White, Santorini Black, Giola Green, Varesine Blue and Charente Grey.

Interesting. These features used to be exclusive to Autobiography. Atleast in Europe. Guess JLR is fusing HSE and Autobiography features just for India.

Is it E20 compatible now? I have reached out to JLR twice in the last few months, and was told they will make the petrols E20 compatible once the government mandates.

In reference to your query, we would like to mention that the E20 fuel compliance will be mandatory from 1st April 2025 as per the government notification which JLR India will comply.

Drive dynamics of RR sports are amazing, took it for a spin and it is a beast of a car. It feels very planted and even though you sit quite high from the ground there is hardly any body roll.

Engine and gear box combination is just perfect and may be slightly better than x5.

Not a fan of blackedout badges in a black car. Spotting the black colour RR sport is weird without any badging visible. Matt grey or silver badging would have been solid.

It's unacceptable for manufacturers to sell cars that aren't compatible with E20 fuel; the requirement has been known for years at this point. Most petrol sold in India today is already at least E12.
