R.I.P. Sushant. An extremely sharp & well-spoken communications professional, we had interacted multiple times during his Jeep tenure (for the Compass & Wrangler). The man knew his cars. Had some great discussions with him, although we didn't always see eye-to-eye either .

46 is a life lost too young. I heard he passed away due to cardiac arrest. Sincerest condolences to the Balsekar family. God bless the good man's soul.

Guys & Gals, take care of your health. Too many relatively young professionals are suffering unexpected health problems (especially to do with the heart). From the auto industry, we lost BMW India's boss Rudratej at 46 too.

This is extremely sad to hear. And at such a young age.

What is happening?, more and more often you hear about people in their late 30s, mid 40s passing away due to heart related reasons. Just the other day I read of another individual on a high post aged 40 something passing away in their sleep. A few months ago it was a younger lady heading a start-up.
Have things changed a lot in the upper echelons of the corporate world? Are they truly under that level of stress?

Rudratej was the one who came to mind almost immediately (same age, same looks) hearing this as I was big on RE launches/ communications those days. RIP to the departed soul.
The amount of stress must be insane to get to those levels in the industry, hopefully other companies take the lead in proactively getting their employees diagnozed and treated as they will never get off their desks in the hustle-bustle. Was at a Volvo preplacement talk and was very happy to note this was one of their primary agendas.
