On the inside, the E-Class features Nappa leather, open-pore wood trim and lots of recycled material. The quality of materials used is as good as it gets in the segment. Upholstery options include Cinnamon Brown (seen here), Macchiato Beige and Black. The MBUX Hyperscreen makes its debut in the E-Class. It comes with Zero Layer and AI.

Standard safety features include 8 airbags (including knee and centre), pedestrian protection, Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist, Car-to-X communication, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, 360-degree camera system and more.
Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel comes with an array of touch-type switches and gets silver chrome inserts. Reach and rake adjustment has been provided:

A/C vents are slim and curved along the border of the dashboard. They are digitally adjustable:

Doorpad holds speakers, seat adjustment and memory controls and power window console. Soft-touch materials have been used. All doors get the soft closing feature:

Power adjustable front seats with memory are upholstered in alpaca wool combined with a recycled material and come with comfort neck pillows. No massage functions here though:
The footwell is illuminated and wide with a huge dead pedal. It is positioned perfectly and can even accommodate large-sized shoes:
ORVMs get blind-spot warning triangles:
Burmester 4D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos sound personalisation delivers 730W through 17 speakers. The sound quality is fantastic. There are 4 exciters in the seats and the driver's seatback gets 2 loudspeakers:
Wide angle selfie and video cam on top of the dashboard enables in-car video calls. When the car is stationary, the driver can participate in online video conferences and take personal photos and videos which can be stored on a USB flash drive. A/C vents are slim and long and the airflow can be adjusted digitally:
The 14.4-inch central display comes with the latest generation of MBUX - Gen 20x.i2. It comes with pre-loaded apps such as Spotify and In-car Calender, Vivaldi Browser and Routines:
The user can set up his/her profile:
Routines can be created and various features of the car (ambient lighting, seat heating, sunroof, etc.) will adjust themselves according to the programmed settings according to templates, self-created routines of AI generated routines:
As mentioned earlier, the direction of the airflow from the A/C vents can be controlled through the touchscreen:

Navigation features 2D or 3D map displays. A satellite view is also available. It comes with real-time traffic updates and car-to-X communication:
Shortcut menu is below the touchscreen. Consists of the camera activation, drive mode selector, audio controls and more. No fingerprint sensor here though:
The centre console holds a storage box with a sliding lid and a wide leather-wrapped armrest:

MBUX Hyperscreen allows the front passenger to have their own 12.3-inch touchscreen for watching movies, using apps, attending conferences via the selfie camera, changing settings and more:

Panoramic sunroof is massive and lets in a lot of light. It has voice operation and anti-pinch function along with automatic closing for rain and hazardous situations. It can also be opened and closed using the keyfob:
High quality sun visors with vanity mirrors and illumination:
Rear doorpads get the same theme as the ones in the front:
Sunshades are electrically operated. Even the rear quarter glasses get sunshades:
Backlit "Mercedes-Benz" branded scuff plates at the rear as well:
Rear seats get individual headrests and 3-point seatbelts for all occupants. Only the left and right headrests get neck pillows:
Legroom is abundant. All footwells are illuminated:
Seat base can be electrically extended for better under-thigh support:
Backrests can be reclined between 26 to 36 degrees. With the Chauffeur package, the front passenger seat can be electrically moved ahead for additional legroom:
Centre armrest gets a wireless charging pad:
