It's not about novelty, but I think it's about the enthusiasm shown towards cars. Kerala population should be the most enthusiastic about cars in the country and thats what the numbers reflect.

Kerala has some amazing roads especially mountain twisties and forest highways. Also its about an evolved car culture which the state has due to a large expat population.

This documentation of GTIs reminds me of the Youtube channel 'Vinwiki' video where Ed Bolian has shown his excel sheet of all the Lamborghini Murcielagos that were manufactured from the factory. He had further divided the total number into various body styles (coupes, roadsters, convertibles etc) & registered country. I was very fascinated on how he compiled all the data. Keep up your documentation.

Thank you! It is actually better to document through the VIN. The Advantage is that it does not matter which state the car has changed over to, the VIN will always be unique.

But it is really tough to get a hold of them, unless you have a connect in the factory or made it a business like Mr Ed
