Here is a look at all the important car launches expected to take place in August 2024.
Mahindra Thar Roxx
Mahindra has released another teaser of the upcoming Thar Roxx – the 5-door version of the Thar. It will be launched on August 15.
The Thar Roxx will be offered with the same set of engines as the standard model. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with, either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Citroen has released a few images of the upcoming Basalt SUV Coupe for India. It will make its global debut on August 2.
The Basalt will be offered with the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that powers the C3 Aircross. This engine makes 109 BHP and 205 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

MG Motor India is gearing up to launch its third pure-electric model, the Cloud EV. It will be called the ‘Windsor EV’, when it goes on sale in the Indian market.
In the international market, MG offers the Cloud EV with two battery options: 37.9 kWh with 360 km of range and a 50.6 kWh battery offering 460 km of range.

The new Tata Curvv SUV-Coupe will be available with petrol, diesel and electric powertrains. Prices will be announced on August 7, 2024.
Said to be India's first SUV-Coupe, The overall design of the Curvv remains true to the concept that was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet will be launched in India on 8 August 2024.
The car is a 2-door 4-seat convertible based on Mercedes’ Modular Rear Architecture (MRA). Mercedes could offer either, the CLE 300 4Matic or 450 4Matic variant in India. Both variants feature a mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

The AMG GLC 43 Coupe will be launched alongside the CLE Cabriolet on the 8th of August, 2024.
The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a mild-hybrid system. It delivers 415 BHP and 500 Nm and is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

The Lamborghini Urus SE made its global debut in April this year. The performance SUV is now available with a hybrid powertrain. It will be launched in India on August 9, 2024.
The Urus SE packs a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, which allows the SUV to be driven on electric power for up to 60 km.

Nissan has launched the fourth-generation X-Trail in the Indian market. The SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and is offered at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powering the X-Trail is a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol*engine*paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. It produces 160 BHP and 300 Nm and is mated to a shift-by-wire CVT gearbox.
