Recieved the OTA update for my Scorpio N DAT 4Xplor and didn't hesitate much to download and install over the pre installed Vi e-sim.
Is this the first in Indian 4 wheeler segment, to get an OTA update without any intervention from ASC?

Well the entire process will start only when the car is parked with hand brakes ON and engine running.

It takes a good 35 to 40 mins and the system will restart a couple of times in between.

Some images i captured during the installation will explain the overall process.

OTA updates are available in Hyundai's Bluelink technology since years - In the last 1 year - i have been receiving the updates automatically - every 6 months. Best part is it keeps on auto download and install while keeping car in normal running.

MG ZS EV has been getting OTA updates since it launched. Not sure if Hector is also the same. But definitely nowhere near the first. Still, pretty cool though

My 4WD AT Scorpio-N updated to SW Version 10.34.85 OTA, not sure why is M&M providing different versions.

Wait. The Scorpio N had zomato pre installed? Damn, if there was some sort of voice activation or virtual assisstant integration, i can see it being beneficial for a lot of office goers.

I can see why it was removed though

I am glad that they are fixing the IS and IC going blank issue. It is a nightmare and both screens would go out randomly, especially when starting the car and immediately moving instead of waiting for a bit.

That seems like a waste of time and fuel. They should be able to download and install the update on the go while requiring stopping and park the vehicle once, to restart the system like any other device do. Even phones install the complete next Android on the go while requiring only one restart.

Have anyone noticed any specific changes after this OTA update?
Or its just some fixes for old issues.

Great to see Mahindra bringing in updates, My cousin received the same as well and like as mentioned it does take over half an hour or so to get the update completed.
