I feel every single of these names suggested by ChatGPT are better than Thar Roxx.

Don't know what's with Mahindra and their naming strategy.

The name Thar is a legacy.
And a new name being associated with it, must have been equally good.
Earlier for a limited edition they named Thar Earth edition and now they have named the 5 door as "ROXX". Doesn't synch/sound well with the name Thar, (atleast for me).

The first thing I remembered when I read ROXX, was this below gift we received in some function a few years ago.



Meanwhile any idea what could be the starting/launch price for ROXX?

Disappointed with the name, won't age well.
The v2 of 5 door Thar will probably be called something else, maybe without the Thar nomenclature at all.

Armada or even brand new standalone nameplate would've been better.

With original Thar, one of the first things that people did was get a new grill and lights. With this, itl be debadging and getting rid of this dumb a** name off of this vehicle.

I can imagine so many people replacing Thar ROXX badge with just Thar from the 2 Door varient. This is just atrocious from Mahindra

The name sounds like a veiled reference to the thar’s suspension which can be hard as rocks!

On a more serious note, this car just looks amazing and menacing in the all black guise. Looks like Mahindra have another winner on their hands!

If there's one car that doesn't need a silly name to appeal to the masses, it's Thar. Cars like Punch needed the name to be simple and stupid, but not this.
They should have gone with Mahindra Commander. Because personally I'm relieved that they didn't pick Armada. I just don't get Armada vibes from this car that I got as a kid. Hope they come up with something quirky like say the FJ Cruiser and call it the Armada.
