Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched at Rs 8.38 lakh

Hyundai has shared a teaser on social media, hinting at a new variant of the Exter. It might be the 'Knight Edition', however, that’s just speculation.

The teaser shows the rear end of the sub-compact SUV with its H-shaped taillight and the ‘Exter’ badge. The caption reads, “Let the night sky dazzle, each time you cruise by! Hold on to your seats, something epic is about to be unveiled!”

The Hyundai Exter was launched in the Indian market exactly a year ago. So, the new variant might also be a special edition to celebrate the first anniversary of the Exter in India.

Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 BHP and 114 Nm. The engine is mated with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT.

Hyundai also offers a CNG version of the Exter. It comes with a manual transmission as standard.

Can it be Exter N-Line? I can see red accents on the Tailgate.

I see Red tape on the boot. This has to be N-line for Exter!

Hyundai is really milking N-line now jeez.

They can be quirky and make the tailamp read N like this instead of going over board with red tape like they did in Creta.

re: Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched at Rs 8.38 lakh

It's a good move, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make. I see very few Knight edition cars on the road compared to Tata's Dark edition cars.

@mods, should we update the thread name from 'teased' to 'launched'?

I wonder, how will this knight edition look in white color.

Also, why did they leave out the SX(O) variant?

Re: Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched at Rs 8.38 lakh

I'll choose one if they get at least a 4-star (or satisfactorily higher 3-star) rating. But I am not understanding why both Maruti and Hyundai aren't sending their cars for NCAP tests (be it Global or Bharat).
