Re: Mahindra XUV700 prices reduced by upto ₹2.19L

How are the waiting times currently on XUV700 top end models?

I causally enquired today in Sarjapur Bangalore Mahindra for AX7L Diesel variant. On-road price quoted to me was 30.2L. Sales person was ready to give another 50-70K discount if I book today. He had all colours readily available.
Good times are here for sure

Almost readily available if not particular about colour but for a specific colour I was promised a delivery in less than 30 days if not earlier. Long waiting times are a thing of past w.r.t 700 and many models across the brands.

Just to point out that the discount in this case would be on the overpriced insurance.

I'm getting my AX7 delivered next week and there is no discount over the price cut.

In NCR, the enquiries have gone up so much after the cut that the dealers are back to their old, don't-care-if-you-don't-buy ways. The change in attitude is stark over the last week

A dealership near my place has Diesel AX7L manual available in stock and manufacturing is of Jan 2024, so has all the latest added features.

Is it ok to consider a 6-7 month old production car and what kind of discounts can I expect over and above the price cuts given its 6 months old.

The XUV700 has been a fast selling vehicle with good waiting periods. It sounds fishy that this particular vehicle has not moved off the dealership floors for over 7 months. I would be very wary here and deep dive to understand what is the reason this car has not been sold yet.

Precisely why I was wondering whether to even think along those lines if there is a significant dealer discount being provided. Maybe because automatics are more preferred over manual. Have just had a fleeting visit for now, will check out in detail when go next.

I was offered 1.75L discount for a Dec 2023 AX7L D AT.

This particular car was being used as a static display inside the showroom and had less than 70 kilometers on the odometer.

Are thy offering you a substantial discount over and above the recent price cut? Maybe worth it in this case. I know AX7 and AX7L have been slow moving for a while now. It is quite possible that cars allotted to customers, who subsequently canceled, have piled up with dealers.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 prices reduced by upto ₹2.19L

Friends, this is my 1st post on Team-BHP.

I am planning to upgrade from my diesel EcoSport and I am looking at the XUV700. They have brought the prices down significantly for the AX7 models. Just wanted to check if we have any information when the next generation / facelift of XUV700 is coming.

I guess there is no such information available yet, otherwise in your forum we would have known by now. However XUV700 and Harrier/Safari are wonderful cars with a few niggles' here and there as we all know.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 prices reduced by upto ₹2.19L

It seems like Mahindra has now reduced the price of other variants as well. Is it because of the lower demand or preparing for the launch of Thar ROXX?

The Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Diesel AT 7S variant witnesses the most significant price cut of Rs. 70,000, taking the new price to Rs. 20.39 lakh. Similarly, the AX5 Petrol MT 7S, AX5 Petrol MT 7S with ESP, and AX5 Diesel MT 7S variants receive a uniform price revision of Rs. 50,000.

Additionally, the prices of the AX3 Diesel AT 7S and AX5 Diesel AT 5S variants in the XUV700 range have now been reduced by Rs. 20,000 each. The XUV700 range is currently priced between Rs. 13.99 lakh and Rs. 26.04 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

Well, seems like the takers for their supposedly VFM variants AX5 have reduced post the significant prices cut of the AX7 variant. It's simply a no-brainer to go for AX7 v/s AX5.

Partially it may also be true that M&M wants to reposition or rather may way for the upcoming Thar ROXX.

On a positive note, given the current market conditions and the increasing number of price cuts by M&M, seems like the Thar ROXX will very competitively priced.

Whatever it is, it's so good to read news of such price cuts!

P. S.: The AX5 D AT 5 STR makes for a good value preposition consider it being under 20 L which saves on a significant chunk of taxes. The 7 STR misses out as it is priced at 39k higher.

The upper end of the range now tops out at 24.99 lakhs. so an 11-lakh price range between the top and bottom end, in which a total of 42 variants are placed. Such a tight price band creates a situation where consistent premium increments for featreus like AWD or AT cannot be maintained across the range. are The premium for AWD on the top end AX7L Diesel Automatic is just 1 lakh. Maybe the best 1 lakh one can spend if one is in the market. The premium goes up to 1.2 lakhs when it comes to AX7. Difference between AX7 Diesel MT and AX7 Diesel AT is 1.6 lakhs.

We are in process of finalising xuv700. The latest price shows another 40K discount on ex-showroom.

I was surprised to see DT having more discount then normal.

AX7 L DSL AT AWD 7 STR BS6.2 - New AT - ₹ 24,99,000

AX7 L DSL AT AWD 7 STR BS6.2 Dual Tone - New AT
Ex-showroom ₹ 25,13,998
Consumer discount ₹ 40,000
