This year, Tata Motors is celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Nexon. The company has announced benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh to mark the occasion.



Customers who have booked a Tata Nexon and are awaiting delivery and those bookings afresh or wanting to upgrade their existing Nexon to the updated version can avail of this offer. The benefits vary depending on the variant.



Meanwhile, the overall sales of the Nexon have crossed the 7 lakh unit milestone since its launch in 2017. According to the figures shared by the company, the first 1 lakh cars were sold in 25 months following the launch and by April 2023, over 5 lakh Nexons were on Indian roads.

In 2018, the Tata Nexon became the first Indian car to receive a 5-star GNCAP rating. The new-gen Nexon received its 5-star GNCAP rating in February this year. The Nexon.ev also received a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP this month.

OMG! Now Tata is coming out with all guns blazing. Yesterday evening, we got a call from SA stating that Creative Plus MT is now available with a 1 lakh discount. (Don't know if it's due to the 7th anniversary celebration or 3XO banging on the doors.)

Now that will undercut the Racer R3, which we are planning to go with after the test drive. I told my friend that even though Nexon is a next segment car, Racer 3 is providing more features than Creative Plus MT.

I casually called SA again and informed him that we would consider if he could match Fearless MT OTR with Creative Plus MT OTR. He promised to call us back in 15 minutes. Voila! He's back with 13.82 OTR including 5 year warranty. I was like, Come on guys, if you can give Creative Plus MT 1 lakh, the same can be provided for Fearless MT too. That was just a googly from me. But the SA was not in a mood to retract. He came up with 13.62 OTR, including a 5-year warranty.

With Fearless MT, we are only missing ventilated seats and sunroof wrt Racer R3.

Nexon White DT Fearless MT can be delivered by month-end and R3 by the second half of July. We put Rs. 5001 (fully refundable) as the booking amount for either Fearless MT or R3. Fingers are tightly crossed.
