A special edition to celebrate another special edition. True marketing genius from Nissan.
Anyway any news about X Trail, Juke, Duster rebadge Or Triber rebadge? Nope as usual.

What does Geza mean? It could be very sensitive as it sounds similar to a controversial strip of land.

The name Geza is a boy's name meaning "little prince". Spelled Géza in Hungarian, this is the modern form of Gyeücsa. It derives from a Hungarian noble title: gyeü, with a diminutive suffix. This was the name of a 10th-century leader of the Hungarians, father of the first king István.

Actually it's about music.

The GEZA name originates from Japanese theater, offering an advanced infotainment system combined with the convenience of a CVT Turbo. (From Financial times)

Geza is the name given to off stage music performed in a small room to the right of the stage. The musicians have a view of the drama going on.

Re: Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Special Edition launched at Rs 9.84 lakh

I think this model was introduced as a replacement for the recently price hiked XV Turbo CVT variant. The ex showroom price of XV Turbo CVT was originally under 10 lakhs. And now it has become 10.2 lakhs. This makes it very expensive on road in many states and hence not a value proposition anymore.

So they probably introduced geza edition with CVT under 10 Lakhs.

Quite lazy of them. While their USA, thiland, Phillipines and other counterparts have facelifts and version upgrades almost every year, Indian management is happy with stickering jobs. It is understandable that car manufacturing is a capital intensive work. But to not even have a single upgrade or spend a single rupee (or yen?) on engineering improvements is just lazy.

There are so many small niggles and usability issues that they could have been corrected since 2020! All of which could just be corrected by software updates or small changes to hardware.
1. Position of dead pedal too forward. Just push it back a bit
2. Auto Unlock of doors upon engine switch off (so easy to implement in software)
3. Auto fold and unfold of mirrors (probably requires a auto relay in the place of a switch, requires minimal enginnering time because it is a solved problem and just needs a OEM change)
4. Windows that actually roll up and down without the engine being required to be on (how stupid can the engineers be to do this! Even my old Alto K10 (from 2013) windows roll up and down as soon as the key is put in accessory mode)
5. With all the manufacturers becoming more safety conscious, they should also add more airbags and all 3 rear seat belts that are 3 point with seat belts reminders (and weight sensors).
6. Raise the height of the front central arm rest (it is essentially useless right now)

Unless they do at least these, even the existing customers won't recommend it to others.
