Don’t understand what is Jeep and Citroen doing. Jeep numbers are just going down. Infact it’s been months I have seen a brand new Compass on Bangalore roads. Looks like people are slowly forgetting Compass / Meridian, if not already.

The fact that the long forgotten Ignis and Ciaz sold more than the Elevate and City in April is very alarming. Time for Honda to wake up and smell the coffee.

Elevate did not elevate Honda's business. City having the first mover advantage with the Hybrid is not helping while Suzuki and Toyota are selling hot cakes

When I visited the Honda showroom for my friends car service, I looked at the Elevate. I was sure that it would settle at 1.5-3k volume and nothing more, that too because of Honda loyalists. It's too late to the party, with no standout features nor exceptional performance nor looks. It's just a product which is there in the segment. Death of Honda in India is imminent and it's their own making!

Of all the manufacturers, Citroen should wake up and smell the coffee. Power pack the C3 and Aircross; add sunroofs to them, add new features.

Top 4 contribute whopping 82% and top 6 make it to almost 94%!! Certainly not a good thing for Indian automobile market and for us as customers. Really not sure how companies like Nissan, Renault, Jeep, Honda, etc. are going to survive in future. Elevate numbers are shocking. Toyota numbers has great contribution from Maruti, else their alone numbers are not very good. Only Maruti, Tata, Mahindra and Hyundai doing good here.

Hope to see some good, new models in next 5 years. Nowadays people want something new all the time. Old models can't sell too long.

Honda is in deeeeep trouble now that the Elevate is going down. With the City doing double digits, and the Amaze doing not much better, Honda really needs to wake up.
