Surprised as there was no news about this coming. No info in Mahindra website as well.

Black interior looks good. Not sure about the exterior color.

Expect this to be a runaway success. Can already estimate many people shifting their bookings to this Blaze Edition. Matt shades are the new in-thing. Definitely looks super sexy! The black interiors are a big bonus.

This special edition SUV will likely be limited to just 2,500 units. An official launch is expected soon.

The Blaze Edition costs Rs 25,000 more than the equivalent AX7 L trim that it's based on.

Very true. Apart from couple of missing features the only big gap in this excellent product was an option of interior colours. This dark theme should be given as an option across all variants. Also the exterior colour is also a welcome edition. Was getting bored from meeting mid night black or white coloured xuv700s every time I hit the road

Unfortunately no AWD is being offered in the blaze addition, So went ahead with my Napoli Black AWD booking,

Will sorely miss the black interiors but not a fan of the exterior color though.

Kinda also makes me feel a proper facelift is around the corner, 2 months ago Napoli black with additional features and now this....

Great move by Mahindra. I feel black interiors was the only thing missing in this otherwise almost perfect car. When they launched the Black edition sans black interiors I assumed they never would. However, would also love to see more exterior colour options with the same.

Also wondering why would they want to limit it to only 2500 nos.

Jokes apart, the car does look pretty good, is there any change in infotainment system( like some special theme) etc..

I have been a fan of lighter colors, which conceal small nicks and cuts. Due to the white interiors, I was holding on to upgrading my XUV 500. I am almost ready to book the Blaze version but the following points keep bugging me

1) Not sure if this color will look good when it fades
2) Small scratches will be easily visible and does wrapping help considering this has the matte finish?

I feel that they matte finish is very hard to maintain with even slight bruises clearly visible. The fat interior is tastefully done. I hope they come out with more exterior colours with dark interiors.
