I think this is the first time when Maruti has been dislodged from top 2 position. Hope Tata and Hyundai are able to sustain this lead.

Very interesting statistics. I am not surprised at the Punch's success. It shows the growing demand of the customer for safety and a good package. My concern is for the Stellantis brands of Jeep and Citroen. The sales figures are just not sustainable. considering the fact that Citroen has recently entered the market, it's performance is really sad. It has good products but abysmally poor features have failed to garner customer interest. One expected better from a company that gave us marvels like the Traction Avant and The DS! It's even sadder to see an SUV brand like Jeep doing so poorly despite customers preferring SUVs over any other type of cars. Jeep needs to reinvent itself to keep it alive
