BMW India silently hikes prices across its range from 01st April 2024

BMW India has again increased the prices of its entire range. While the prices were increased (by upto ~2%) on 1st Jan this year itself, BMW has decided to increase the prices again but this time without any official announcement (thus far).
The increment seems in the tune of 1-2% again with cars like the X5 now costing upto ~2.5L more than their previous ex-showroom cost.

I wonder what is the reason for back to back increments in just a quarter!

Does not look like they have changed anything other than hiking the X5's price by a couple of lakhs. Most other models seem to be unchanged.

The X5 and X7 seem to have insatiable demand and BMW has kept continuously hiking their prices. There is still a waiting list for these cars. Prices have gone up 40% since the launch of this generation in 2019 without any major changes to powertrain or kit.
