Toyota Glanza recalled over fuel pump motor issue

Toyota has announced a recall for the Glanza over a fuel pump motor issue. 2,305 units of the hatchback manufactured between April 2, 2019, and October 6, 2019, are said to be affected by this issue.

According to the company, authorised dealers across India will conduct a voluntary recall campaign to rectify a possible issue with the fuel pump motor. Toyota dealer representatives will contact individual customers for necessary campaign procedures.

For more information regarding the recall, customers can contact the nearest dealer or call the Customer Assistance Centre on the toll-free no - 1800 309 0001.

Customers can also check if their vehicle is among those recalled by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Toyota's official website.

This same issue was also there in Baleno in same timeline manufactured units, but Maruti recalled Baleno in 2021, both Glanza and Baleno are manufactured by Maruti but Toyota is recalling in 2024??
