The wide air dams in the front bumper are part of the M Sport package in the US and you can get any engine option with it.

My vehicle is a 530i xDrive and does not have this package.

BMW has opened the Pre-Launch bookings for the i5 M60 xDrive.

It has been listed on their website:

Deliveries to begin from May ‘24.

Autocar has confirmed the launch of G60 LWB in India on July 24th. This is quite agile by segment standards, this car was not expected till festive season. Mercedes seem to be nowhere close to launching the new generation E yet.

No details are available about the power train, but going by recent trends of BMW launches, I would expect the 520 and 520i (nowadays just called 520) to be launched.

With brochure specs like these, there is no logical sense of buying a BMW EV over the BYD Seal by paying more than twice except you are a BMW fan boy with huge amount of cash to burn. Even the maintenance cost of BYD will be less and given that the former is a German, there is no reliability card here to play. With this generation it even look worse than the Seal.
