Skoda has silently discontinued the Style and Sportline variants of the Kodiaq. The SUV is now only available in the top-spec L&K trim.



Skoda has also reduced the price of the Kodiaq L&K. The price has been slashed from Rs 41.99 lakh to Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda hasn’t made any changes to the mechanical bits or the features list. The SUV continues to be offered with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 188 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The second-generation Kodiaq is expected to arrive later this year. Globally, the SUV is available with a 1.5L TSI mild-hybrid, a 2.0L TSI 4WD and 2.0L TDI engines.

As of the last week of December 2023, the over-the-call discount in Bangalore was about Rs.3,50,000 lakhs. It varied slightly between the two dealers.

A friend recently bought one in Kolkata and got about Rs.2,50,000 discount.

Given that it is the end of March I'm sure the numbers could be juicier.

Dealers were not taking any bookings for Sportline and Style back in December.

I'm thankful for Skoda to have sold the SPORTLINE version of the Kodiaq. From All black interior, Alcantara sport seats, differentiated Alloys, No-Chrome treatment - it really stands out. Cant wait for the new-gen Kodiaq

This is just STOCK CLEARANCE SALE! New 2024 model is around the corner, so whatever the factory produced they are clearing it to make way for the 2024 model.

That one looks damn hot and has a better SUV stance than this version which looks like a station wagon on stilts. The interior too has been thoroughly upgraded in 2024 model.

Such a sea change in 2 years, going from stopping booking due to a large backlog of orders to cutting down on trims and slashing prices to clear stocks :-).

The facelift just looks tremendously dashing. I just hope they bring that yummy 2ltr 4-cyl Diesel to India too.
Enough of this Diesel abandonment nonsense, especially when they still have new launches with Diesels outside India.
Seeing 5kmpl on the dash of a petrol car is a 'shi*ti*g the pants' feeling even for a 'Crorepati'.

Seems like already defunct Skoda Indian inventory will take significant hit after major manufacturing lines getting busy with newer generation kits. Hope it's managed well.
