The Slavia Style Edition is based on the top-spec Style trim. It is equipped with a sunroof, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and added features like a dual dash camera and puddle lamps with logo projection. The car also gets a blacked-out roof, black ORVMs and B-pillars.

The Slavia Style Edition is available with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. It produces 148 BHP and 250 Nm and comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The Slavia Style Edition will be limited to just 500 units. The car is available in three colour options – Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Tornado Red.

Re: Skoda Slavia Style Edition launched at Rs 19.13 lakh

I don't understand VAG's obsession with launching useless limited editions. Why can't they simply add new features to existing trim options & be done with it rather than creating endless confusion for a customer.

Style anyways is a trim in Slavia then isn't calling an edition 'Style Edition' a bit redundant?

Exactly my thoughts. There is already a Style trim in the market. This is just going to cause even more chaos for the average buyer! Atleast fix your naming convention Skoda!

p.s : I'm talking about you as well VW.

Apart from the fact that it looks ugly, I'm lost for words to give to VW groups special editions. The person at skoda HQ approving these as special editions must be smoking something very strong. An RS version with actual performance upgrade is a special edition. Not a sticker job that could be done DIY or at a car accessories shop. Come on skoda I'm giving you free advice here - "Cough cough Hyundai N-line".

Re: Skoda Slavia Style Edition launched at Rs 19.13 lakh

Now Skoda will add an amplifier under the front seat and call it the " Amp your style" edition. If you wanted to add these features, why not just add it as standard? Why will I pay extra for something like a puddle lamp when such options are available in the aftermarket ? The dashcam is anyways an official accessory, which can be had with any variant of the car. Just launching an edition doesn't make sense. Hope they're not trying to replicate Tata which has infinite variants If you really want to launch a special edition, launch an "Tropicalised AC edition" which would sort the cooling of the AC, an Achilles' heel in an otherwise well rounded package.
Being an existing Slavia owner it sometimes really feels frustrating when the AC cuts off near 1000 RPM, and makes the cabin warm in no time. We have to literally keep the temperature in 22 degrees and the fan at level 3 to get optimum cooling ( Current temperature in Kolkata is 24 degrees).
Will have to rely on a third party coder to get the AC performance upto the mark when they could have easily done it themselves.
Did not want to say all these , but couldn't help either.

I remember when we were booking our Polo there was a Polo 'GT Edition', different from the Polo GT (decals, black roof and, well, I'm struggling to think of more). This isn't really very different.

The dual dashcam catches my attention: I wonder exactly how well-integrated it will be (hopefully not like the Alibaba infotainment system from the Rapid's final days). It could be an interesting -- or should I say 'simply clever' -- item to make standard on the Style in the future.

From what I heard the dual dashcam is actually misleading cause its not front and back like one would assume, its front and cabin dashcam

There was a Monte Carlo edition of Slavia expected. What has happened to that, one wonders.

This Style Edition is available in DSG only.

Well we have an Skoda Slavia Ambition variant. We opted for the dashcam as an official accessory. It costs Rs 10,000. As I said above ,it does not warrant the need for launching an all new edition.

Re: Skoda Slavia Style Edition launched at Rs 19.13 lakh

Maruti & Hyundai Group understand the needs of Developing Nations customers. They actually sell what customers want.

European companies want customer to buy what they sell not the other way round.

A blacked-out roof, black ORVMs and B-pillars, these are never called "features" in any other countries around the world. Its just fooling the customers.
