Oh wow I can lots of people going for the Dynamic(power windows/steering, fog lamps, central locking, body coloured handles)

Middle class doesn't care for ABS, height adjust steering/seats anyway

EDIT:

if the price is bang on so the palio is dead?
Buyers had unofficially killed it a long time back and the pricing seems to make it official.

@Sid, brilliant as usual with the scoops!

Again the same question: Is the multijet an FGT or a VGT?

Looks like it is "bye bye Palio".

The sales manager at a dealership in Bangalore who sold me the Linea says he is off for training on the Grande Punto this week. He expects the launch to happen sometime in the last week of May or first/second week of June and cars to be available at the showroom in the beginning of June.

@geeash

The salespersons in chennai are the most badly informed, many don't even know there is a product by the name GP is gonna get launched..

@sid

If what you have mentioned is going to be the final prices, then it would be a killer.Finally there will be some competition for the swift..

Waiting to have a hand on this baby!!!

Sid as usual, brilliant with the scoops.. price cleverly a little above the Palio, but still very much in the Swift range i feel.

Looking at the pricing it looks very much similar to swift ( Slightly Higher ) I guess this car will be a killer.
Dynamic Trim looks like a must buy.
Guess it will be priced 5.90 - 6.10 ( by looking at trim options)
Just cant wait to see this car on the road.

PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE BETWEEN ME and sidsgo07 who gave you the scoop. I am not this time, its a different person with a similar nickname. so credit him.

It seems that similar nicknames are creating confusion.

No automatic varient is planned.

I don't know the pricing, details etc.

Am sure it would not be better than linea's interior quality if they price it just above swift.I would compare it with getz and swift interior quality than with linea's. I guess it would be better any day.

Hope it retains that thud effect Palio had

Is it going to be end of the road for indica vista?
I have seen only few vistas on the road and the launch of GP is gonna do no good to it.Also, with this launch all major Tata showrooms will predominantly become Fiat showrooms with Linea,GP and Palio(untill it is officially dumped) on display.
I envisage some sort of trouble for tata camp.
Don't know how Tata is going to position its products, where it has to display its cars along with its mighty Fiat counterparts.
Guess,Tata is in some sort of soup!!

P.S:Hope this post is not read by any Tata senior heads, if someone does, then it might not be so good news for the Fiat..
