2024 Renault Kwid launched at Rs 4.69 lakh

Renault has launched the 2024 Kwid in India. The updated Kwid is available in seven variants, priced from Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault has made a few changes to the feature list and introduced new dual-tone colours. The mid-spec RXL (O) variant now gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is also available with an automated manual transmission (AMT).

The Kwid is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 67 BHP and 91 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

RXE MT – Rs 4.69 lakh
RXL (O) MT – Rs 4.99 lakh
RXL (O) AMT – Rs 5.44 lakh
RXT MT – Rs 5.50 lakh
RXT AMT – Rs 5.95 lakh
Climber MT – Rs 5.87 lakh
Climber AMT – Rs 6.12 lakh

Kwid has become so irrelevant in today's times that no one has come and responded to this update. May be that's a sign for Renault to do something about it. Kwid needs a next gen please.

Agreed. The competition had moved past this tin can, and it's time for a major overhaul/ new generation.

As an owner of the Renault Duster, I would like to request Renault to launch

1. Renault Clio as Hot Hatch
2. Renault Twingo as rival to Tiago
3. Renault Megane as rival to City
4. Renault Duster as rival to Nexon

But let's be honest, Renault lacks the face value in India and their designs apart from Kiger, new 2025 Duster and Kwid are quite boring. Each brand in India has a strong point that attracts the customers like Maruti for their vast service network and low maintenance, Hyundai/Seltos for their tech loaded cars, VW/Skoda for their build quality and driving feel, Honda/Toyota for reliability etc. But what does Renault as a brand stands for ? What is that strong point that makes the customers to walk into a Renault Showroom ?

I purchased the Renault Duster as it is a proven car globally and as a customer, I do not find any sort of an upgrade from the current Renault's portfolio.
