This list is based on rumours & hearsay and thus should be treated as a tentative list only.

Car models costing over 55 - 60 lakh rupees, and many fully imported cars (CBUs), have been excluded from the list. Reason = Low relevance & commitment to the marketplace.

Maruti WagonR facelift: The 2024 Maruti WagonR is expected to carry forward the same set of engines as before. These include 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol units. A CNG version will also be on offer - Related Thread



Citroen C3X: Citroen is gearing up to expand its C3 range with a third model, the C3X. The new “high-riding sedan” has already been spotted testing in India a few times - Related Thread



BYD Seal: The electric sedan was showcased at Auto Expo 2023, with the intention to introduce it by Q4 2023. However, the launch has been pushed to 2024 - Related Thread



Hyundai Alcazar facelift: The Hyundai Alcazar is expected to get several cosmetic updates. The heavy camouflage on the front and rear sections suggests that the SUV will receive a redesigned front fascia along with a few changes at the rear - Related Thread



Hyundai Tucson facelift: Hyundai has revealed the Tucson facelift for the global markets. The SUV receives several cosmetic changes both on the inside and out. It is expected to be launched in India sometime next year - Related Thread



New-gen Hyundai Kona EV: The EV has been unveiled in global markets. The new-gen electric SUV is 150 mm longer and 25 mm wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase has also gone up by 60 mm - Related Thread



Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: The Bolero Neo Plus is the replacement for the TUV300 Plus. Reports suggest that the car will be offered in seven variants and positioned below the Scorpio Classic in terms of pricing - Related Thread



Mahindra XUV400 facelift: The XUV400 facelift could get a major interior update while retaining the same electric powertrain - Related Thread



Mahindra XUV700 6-seater: Besides the new seating options and features, no mechanical changes are expected. The XUV700 will continue to be offered with the same engine & transmission options - Related Thread



Mahindra XUV.e8: Likely to be based on Mahindra's INGLO platform. It is expected to use an 80 kWh battery pack, powering a single or dual-motor setup. It could pack around 227-345 BHP - Related Thread



Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift: The entry-level SUV will get minor updates both inside & out, along with a few additional features. It will, however, carry forward the same powertrain options - Related Thread



Nissan X-Trail: the X-Trail will be the first of six new cars lined up for the Indian market. The 4th-gen X-Trail was showcased in October last year. The SUV is likely to be imported via the CBU route. It will compete with the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan - Related Thread

Nissan Magnite facelift: The updated crossover is expected to be launched globally sometime around mid-2024. While the exact details of the updated Magnite are not known, we can expect a few cosmetic changes both inside and out. - Related Thread



Jeep Compass Petrol: Jeep is said to be readying a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine for the SUV, which will power the model for the next couple of years - Related Thread



Tata Altroz Racer: The hatchback will get a turbo-petrol engine to take on the likes of the Hyundai i20 N-Line in the segment - Related Thread



Tata Altroz EV: Although Tata hasn't revealed many details, the Altroz EV has been spotted testing multiple times since its unveil at the 2020 Auto Expo - Related Thread



Tata Sierra EV: Unlike the concept car, the patent image reveals a more conventional 5-door SUV. It has a boxy appearance with short front and rear overhangs, that remind us of the Land Rover Defender - Related Thread



Skoda Octavia RS iV: The Octavia RS iV is expected to come to India via the CBU route and could be offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain - Related Thread



New-gen Skoda Superb: The luxury sedan has been globally unveiled and will make its entry in India soon. Skoda could offer the Superb with petrol and hybrid powertrains - Related Thread



Skoda Enyaq iV: The Skoda Enyaq iV will be the brand's first all-electric model in India. The electric SUV is likely to be launched by March 2024 - Related Thread



Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor: It is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx albeit with a few cosmetic changes - Related Thread



Toyota Belta (Maruti Ciaz): Another rebadged model from Toyota, this time based on the Maruti Ciaz. The Belta is expected to be a replacement for the Yaris sedan in the Indian market - Related Thread



2024 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross: The 2024 version was recently launched in Thailand and is expected to make its way to India as well. It will be powered by a 1.9-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 148 BHP and 350 Nm and a 3.0-litre diesel that puts out 187 BHP and 450 Nm. - Related Thread
