What a beautiful looking car. Octavia is the the word’s best car. Simple, elegant, no nonsense sedan. Just what the world needs but for some reason people keep beating around the bush ! Value for money German engineering. I don’t understand why superb exists when this one is around ?
Hopefully they launch RS with L&K version so that finally I might own this dream car of mine !

Agreed this is more of a facelift than the generation change of Superb and Kodiaq, but really expected Skoda to put the fantastic 'Smart dials' in this facelift.

I have mixed feelings for the front fascia. A unique identity with the dual LED DRLs but I'm not sure the design will age well.

Skoda has done a good job with the facelift & this car would look smoking hot in Black.

However, I wonder if Skoda would ever decide to launch it in India & that too with a sensible price tag.

Subtlety in the facelift whilst maintaining consistency in the design language. Good things are retained (no abrupt u-turns observed) while improving others, which makes the Octavia a package to beat! Wonder if the RS gets adaptive dampers

2.0 TSI Octavia is almost a perfect car to own (Skoda ASS support notwithstanding), Skoda should have this in their India portfolio to maintain the brand recall, after all, it is the Octavia that established the brand in India, sales will be limited, but enthusiasts who do not have a budget for a full blown luxury marque will not be left wanting!

Wonder how do they manage to keep Octavia so tempting in every iteration. That RS in red is just wow. However CBU is not going to make sense for India as the price will be in another territory.

If the Octavia RS is priced upto 40Lacs in India , with CBU pricing, I think it should be able to do good numbers as enthusiasts have identified the value this car provides even with a bit high price tag. The interior with suede black and sport seats looks absolutely ravishing. If we can get a complete blacked out matte finished vRS, it would be an instant hit. To get an idea of popularity of VRS, a used 5 year old Octavia vRS is still being sold in Indian market for same OTR price of that time.

Eh, on the exterior its the same except for a swoopier DRL that hangs down.

Interiors get a major upgrade with large screens and sporty seats with adjustable underthigh support like all the luxury cars get now.

Wish they would bring the 2.0 TDI here. Not sure why they can sell diesels in Europe but not here.

I can spot a sunroof here- though it is missing in other images. Maybe variant specific

Most probably an image of the estate version. The current generation Octavia always had a Panaromic sunroof but only in the estate version(which we never got in India).

You need to wait for the Sunshine Chrome Fantastic 4 edition.

Love the design of the overall car. As others mentioned, it's a no-nonsense practical car with lovable handling and great boot space.

Wish they bring in most of the range and not jip the Indian customer with a wheezy engine and terrible options and then cry foul if sales tanks.

Octavia is a dream car. It is one of best executive sedans in the market with a smooth and comfortable drive. If they had not pulled it off India, I would have bought this last year, eyes closed. The update looks stunning too. Hope they bring it back again soon.

Have they confirmed about launching the TSI + vRS trims in India? I have been a massive fan of Octavia and may bite the bullet this time around. The CBU route would be bloody expensive though.
I think ~35L OTR would be interesting in the Indian market.
