Honda Amaze Elite Edition & City Elegant Edition launched

Honda has launched two new limited editions based on the Amaze and City this festive season. The Amaze Elite Edition is priced from Rs 9.04 lakh to Rs 9.86 lakh. Prices for the City Elegant Edition range from Rs 12.57 lakh to Rs 13.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

Amaze Elite Edition:

The limited-edition Amaze is based on the top-spec VX trim and is available with manual and CVT transmissions.

The car gets additional features such as a rear spoiler with an LED stop light, TPMS, front fender garnish, a sliding front armrest, anti-fog film on ORVMs, illuminated sill plates, a tyre inflator, and Elite Edition seat covers and badges.

City Elegant Edition:

The limited-edition City is based on the V trim and comes equipped with a rear spoiler with an LED stop light, front fender garnish, illuminated sill plates, a wireless charger, and Elegant Edition seat covers and badges.

The City Elegant Edition is also available with manual and CVT transmission options.

Refer to Honda's site for the features being offered in Amaze Elite Edition.

Looking at price hikes across the board, Amaze feels more value for money every passing day. This Elite Edition seems to be worth much more than the extra 15K that's being asked (not considering any discounts).

All these new editions might help them boost their sales only a little bit

I guess these editions would have been due at a later date. But the announcement of Verna's crash test rating might have induced them to rush these festive editions

It is high time that Honda makes the city more competitive with better engines and by providing of plethora features

Hope Honda does a Hyundai here by rectifying their past grief

The additional features given in Amaze seems to be more valuable than what is given for City. TPMS, Sliding Armrest, Tyre Inflator, Anti-fog OVRMs are really useful features. Nothing seems to be of interest in what is given in the City and that is disappointing.

Amaze was in my radar last year. My only grudge was no cruise control in CVT. I believe they have not added it in this refresh as well.

So Honda has finally accepted that the slab of chrome ar the front wasn't elegant

Hopefully elegance becomes the norm going forward.
