FYI - Even the first gen Alcazar had perforated steering wheel wrap. My 2022 Alcazar has it.

Yes, the perforated wrapping was available with the outgoing model too.

First three features are already available in existing model too. The rain sensing wipers is a good addition.

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

Looking at the images, it appears that the boot space is negligible. It can be a turn off point for many. Pre-facelift version had a paltry 180 litre boot. Waiting for the launch to see it myself in person.

I think it will be there in 7 seater. See the attached pics where the yellow circle is marked. There are 2 buttons near the window. One would be for window opening and the other I guess is for ventilation.

Safari is the only car which provides ventilated seats in 2nd row below ₹40lakh price, so Alcazar joining the league could push others also to add ventilated seats to 2nd row. Safari has ventilated 2nd row seats only for 6-seater with captain seats. It will be interesting to see if Hyundai provides ventilated seats with bench seat configuration. Probability of this happening is very remote, but I will keep my fingers crossed until 9th of September.

Below is snap from "Symphony of elegance" section on Alcazar site (marked by red arrow) which mentions "The second row ventilated captain seats". The "Calming inside" section just below the photo has "1st and 2nd row ventilated seats" without any disclaimer.

This interior video shows Diesel signature automatic.

No rear seat ac. Guess the simulated images were misleading.
No sunroof and spare wheel in Diesel AT signature!

Interesting, now there is no sunroof and spare wheel on Diesel top variant. Cost cutting most probably to keep the price not much higher than current version.

I may be biased, but I like the interior layout of outgoing model than the single big screen of instrument cluster and infotainment system and the ac controls. Dual zone ac is a welcome addition.

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

No sunroof (and spare wheel) on diesel top trim may also be an indication of discouraging consumers to not opt for diesel and choose petrol instead. Many consumers who are on fence may end up buying a petrol for better feature incentives.

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

Any idea from the videos whether there are any changes in the third row space?

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

Maybe Hyundai is offering Panoramic sunroof and all other gimmicky features as an option, like Tata to keep prices in check? There's no way Hyundai can't offer a sunroof in Alcazar which will cost 25L+ when Exter gets one!

I wouldn't bet on it. Otherwise it would have been advertised by Hyundai.
