My immediate impression on seeing the new model is that it looks like a larger Venue. I think those wheels have a lot to do with it.

I think these wheels look too sporty for the Alcazar. Don't get me wrong, but they are just not as sophisticated as the ones on the Signature variant of the outgoing model.

Noida to NFC in the morning and return in the evening thrice a week via DND. Since I’m driving in the direction of the traffic both ways, it takes 50-60 mins to cover a distance of 17km one way :

Interior seems as brown as the existing one. Mobile key is interesting. Same video in landscape mode to show bit more details.

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

I have seldom seen a Hyundai Facelift that looks better than the pre-facelift one. Alcazar joins this prestigious list.

Again brown interiors Why can't Hyundai offer a choice for the interior trim color at least in this facelift? Even a "Knight" edition would look awesome

Knight edition might make its appearance on Alcazar as Hyundai is doing the same for all its current offerings. Creta Knight edition is not out yet so I will give another year for Hyundai to release Alcazar Knight edition.

The prev gen Alcazar had Adventure edition which if I remember correctly had sage green seats. I don't remember correctly, if brown coloured plastics on dashboard and door were black or darker color in the Alcazar Adventure edition

Yes, the adventure edition had black dashboard and black door trims. But the exterior was too bland for my liking!

Carens interior color theme was more airy and premium when compared to Alcazar. Wish they could replicate the same.

This facelift gives Santa Fe vibes from front and Palisade vibes from rear

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

I hope the facelift either has a decent 3rd row or good boot capacity with all 3 rows up to compete against the homegrown Safari and XUV 700.

The pre face-lift alcazar was a let down in both departments which meant it was an immediate disqualification in our hunt for a 7 seater.

Re: Hyundai Alcazar facelift spied testing in India

It is one thing to have a family look across models, but if your most expensive (mass product) product starts to look like the cheapest offering in the line - up, it surely has a dent in the liking index. I just can't unsee the Exter and Venue in the Alcazar.

When a C class looks like a S class, it adds to the desirability, in this case it just seems to be reversed for Hyundai. Same happened with Creta, where I can't unsee a Venue.
But again, to each his own and this could very well be just me.

South Delhi to Noida & back or vice-versa is equally bad. Despite this I believe you can get 10+ kmpl on the Alcazar/ Creta without being a saint.

The issue here is lack of competition in price range with similar image/ quality.

Apologies if incorrect, but isn't that a photoshopped image of a Creta? I feel so looking at the missing rear-quarter panel glass area; the rear end of the roof rails being different, and the Hyundai logo is flipped (though the driver side and wipers are in the correct orientation).

Maybe the Youtuber/Influencer was a bit too enthusiastic , and meant it simply as a "representational image" of the Alcazar, which indeed has started arriving at the dealerships - the latter fact I've no reason to doubt.
