+1. Traditionally Sonet has been a better equipped car than Venue. I can see Kia following the same trend here as well.

Yes, 360 camera is present albeit in the top-spec GT Line. The same is also comfited by it's presence on the front grill as seen in the previous post.

1.0 TGDi + iMT combination is discontinued in i20 and Venue. Doesnot make any sense to continue only in 1 model.

Likely options for Sonet F/L:
1.2L petrol with 5MT
1.0 TGDi with 6MT/7DCT
1.5L Diesel with 6MT/6AT

Kia has the iMT in both the Carens and the Seltos, no way they are going to discontinue the same in the Sonet Facelift, I concur with @ashvek3141 and feel the transmission options quoted by him are likely to be correct. Moreover, Kia has been adamant about equipping all its models with the iMT, whereas Hyundai has taken a step back, it is evident from their strategy that the iMT will be restricted to Kia only, in the beginning, it was only with the Petrol, now with Diesel as well, so the trend is likely to continue even though the 1.0 L Turbo GDi is restricted only to the Sonet in the Kia lineup, as the transmission option is already available in other models, and it won't be difficult to continue with the existing lineup.

Yeah, that is with 1.5 TGDI combination. I was mentioning about 1.0 TGDi + iMT.

Re: Kia Sonet Facelift spotted testing in India

Kia Sonet facelift brochure leaked – diesel MT, rear disc brake, electric seat, ADAS L1.

No change in engine specs. New exterior colour added.

Keeping the trend of launching segment-first features, Kia Sonet facelift brings electric driver’s seat adjustment, which is a four-way adjust. So, headrests seem to be manually adjustable. Also, traction modes with automatic variants have been introduced. These are on top of drive modes. Sonet facelift is bringing back manual variants with diesel engine variants. As revealed in our scoop, Seltos and Carens are likely to get diesel MT variants as well. Apart from that, Kia is also offering rear disc brakes with higher trims, which is second to only Mahindra XUV300 that offers rear disc brakes as standard fitment. Like with Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet’s ADAS suite meets Level 1 standards. So, there are 8 ADAS features on offer as opposed to 17 ADAS features on Seltos.

Are you sure that Venue doesn't have autonomous braking? The Venue brochure mentions both Forward Collision Warning(FCW) and Forward Collision - Avoidance Assist(FCA) which to me looks like its just not warning alone. The description also mentions "Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) uses automated sensing technology to detect obstacles on the road & respond with countermeasures for impact avoidance." and the latter part of this sentence does specify "respond with countermeasures" which should mean autonomous braking is what I think.

Can some recent Venue owner chime in on this?

Are there any hopes of an Electric Parking Brake? Automatic cars are truly half-baked, without an EPB, makes living in stop-go traffic so much stress free.

Do you mean auto hold ? Epb night not necessarily always have auto hold added in.

But both these are unlikely in Sonet.

Front Headlamp looks inspired by the XUV300 to me.
Thankfully have managed to design it better than Mahindra.

Though they have designed it marginally better than Mahindra, I don't understand why they have to extend the glossy piece all the way to the lower air-dam (on the bumper)? That looks SO out of place in an otherwise good design.

Does it get 360 degree cameras? Hopefully, it should be available as accessory for existing owners.
