From this image, it seems that there would still be no provision for sliding middle row seats.
My other wishlist is that Mahindra does not restrict captain seats in only Luxury variant. Make it more accessible like Innova. Looking at ScorpioN variants, it seems Mahindra will push customers to upgrade for captain seats. :Frustrati

Actually, it does not end there.
Mahindra is offering a ventilated seat function as well. Unfortunately, it is not "Cooled Seats" as we expected. There going to be just an electric fan sucking air from the bottom and spreading from under the leather seat. |
I assumed cooling seats meant cabin air was blown through. Isnt that the case? or there are dedicated AC ducts?

Thanks for sharing, eagerly waiting for this upgraded version!
Any idea, if is there a luxury variant coming in 5 seater configuration?
I'm planning to buy the XUV700 in the near future. But my budget would only allow me to go till AX3 diesel automatic 5 seater. While I am ready to go ahead and book 1 even this week, I am still waiting since with the introduction of Bharat NCAP, and the competition (READ TaTa Safari) now getting 6 airbags + plus a bunch of safety features as standard right from the base variant, I am hopeful that Mahindra would also start offering essential safety features right from MX.
So I am waiting for Mahindra's XUV700 2024 refresh. Fingers crossed.
p.s. If Mahindra offers MX Diesel with Automatic, I will be 1 happy camper :)
Update: I have gone ahead with Honda City VX CVT 2023 MMC. Farewell Mahindra!

Any more chirps from the little birdies?
Stuff like the powered tailgate, ventilated seats, or a different interior shade?

Since the Harrier and the Safari has taken more of a premium positioning to the XUV700 after the facelift (they had taken a relatively value position earlier) I do expect Mahindra to go even higher up on pricing with the facelift. There is enough demand and both companies are minting money and their share prices are going through the roof due to these SUVs.
Mahindra will be forced offer more features in their AX3 and AX5 variants without much of price increase, to compete with the equivalent lower variants of the Harrier and the Safari. However in the AX7 and AX7L variants, I expect a significant price jump as Mahindra will surely match every feature for feature with the Tata Siblings and also offer more choice of powertrains - i e. petrol variants as well as AWD variants.
Looks like it's going to be a facelift, not just new variants. Lower part of the rear bumper has been given styling change, alloys were blacked out too. Couldn't have a look at the front. Excuse the poor quality image.

This is the XUV.e8 and not the XUV700 facelift, hence the blacked out alloys and different styling for the lower part of the rear bumper.
