1.5 lakhs premium over Nexon, for a bigger boot and coupe styling.

Given the piling up of inventory in car industry, I expected more aggressive pricing from Tata.

I must say the pricing is really aggressive. The Creative S and Creative+S seem to be very well equipped under 13L and 14L respectively.
Even the top end Accomplished is priced aggressively. Definitely need to check it out and take a test drive to see how the Nexon engine performs in a slightly bigger vehicle.

I just didn't like the reddish maroon interior though. Hopefully, with the whole personas thing they're doing, it's limited to the top variant only.

It might even eat up some Nexon top end variants sales.

Overall great pricing, let's hope there are no day 1 issues and limited QC issues.

So we have a Diesel DCA at 13.99 which is pretty impressive and am unable to recollect if there are any there Diesel NON AMT, Auto transmissions at this price range. This will open up a lot of avenues even if Diesels are a dying breed.

Will customers cross shop from 3XO, Nexon, Sonet, Breeza ? interesting times ahead.

Pricing is pretty good. But I think the GDI is priced a bit too high at 13.99 lakhs. I think it would have been good if it started at 12 lakhs. But considering it is from Creative S, it is okay.

I am more interested in seeing both TGDI engine and Diesel DCA and their performance in real world. Eagerly waiting for Team-BHP reviews of both these powertrains.

Mods, any idea when media drives will start?

It is not bad pricing. Of course, for the higher variants, they could have gone a bit more aggressive but OEMs have still not got it into their head that price corrections are already due, no not due but overdue.

It is a given in the current market that people often do cross-shopping and this is where they might get their numbers from. Exciting times ahead.

NEXON is now being pushed from both ends. Punch is already taking away a good chunk of sales from Nexon and now Curvv will do the same from the other end. In a way, this is a masterstroke from TATA.

TATA will ensure the prospective buyer will still pick a TATA over any other OEM.
Nexon is on an old platform which needs to be retired soon and it is better to have cars of the newer platform in higher numbers. That way, the new architecture will attain Economies of Scale soon and will start profitable faster.
Slowly but surely they will increase the price window of Punch, Nexon and Curvv and people will not even realize it.

By chance anyone know when can we expect prices for all Auto models of Petrol and Diesel variants ?

Starts from Pure+ at ₹12.49

Hyperion GDi DCA
Starts from Creative+ at ₹16.49

Kryojet diesel DCA
Starts from Pure+ at ₹13.99

DCA commands ₹1.5 lakh premium over MT. This looks okay and in-line with automatic offerings across the board.
Kryojet Diesel commands ₹1.5 lakh over Revotron turbo petrol MT (this is lot more for diesel) and ₹20k over Hyperion GDi.

Based on above calculated premiums, Accomplished+A GDi DCA will cost ₹18.99 and Accomplished+A Diesel DCA will be ₹19.2 lakh

Must commend TATA for very good pricing as well as feature list.

However, personally, I would not touch a new TATA, with a new Engine, with lots of electronics, No, never. Not even with a barge pole !

Unless TATA gets its act together with the after sales service network expansion, more quality and technically skilled mechanics, advanced diagnostics methodologies, I cannot recommend a new TATA to anyone, period.
