At the moment it seems very messy how the launch is being handled! No proper video share since yesterday and no live premier link as well on YouTube. They released a video in the morning but took it down within hours. Can't seem to understand what is happening.

So, it was just a design unveil official event is slated for 7th August as per Tata press release confirming Curvv will first come in electric followed by ice.

The SUV coupé will debut in two new color shades Virtual Sunrise in the Curvv.ev and Gold Essence in the Curvv ICE.

The last few times they unveiled a car in full before the launch (Punch ICE, Safari/Harrier facelifts), it is so that they could have the GNCAP rating released between the unveil and launch. I hope that is the case here too

Design looks really good and different from our regular cars.

But, why is there that age old 7 inch touchscreen which used to come in Nexon in ICE version given here. Baffles me. EV interiors are hidden before the launch.

So much hype for nothing! They just didn’t show anything that wasn’t previously shown in other events. Poor planning and strategy. No interior/feature set reveal too. It’s not as if they are creating new interior for it and in actual, they are just copy pasting from Nexon.

It shows they have over leveraged hype marketing and this event was more for Social media buzz and loops of reels that will now be shared to generate hype. Nowadays more and more events of Consumer Goods are curated for social media buzz and views and less for real impacts or for the end customer.
Just not done! Only substantial news I came across is confirmation of new 1.2 turbo 3 cylinder for this Curvv

The interior is fake. Both ICE and EV cars are clay / Hardfoam models.

Is it just me or the rear looks too lifted up. They could have easily kept a high ground clearance and lowered the rear a bit to make it seem more balanced.

Also just way too many design elements at the rear. A simpler design would have looked a lot premium.

Thanks for sharing, this will fly off the shelves, nothing comes close to SUV Coupe design. Some are comparing it to the Citroen, which has vintage flap door handles

This lame reveal Tata Curvv is just to STEAL the title of the ' First SUV Coupe' launch which otherwise would be entitled to Citroen Basalt.
The Citroen Basalt reveal was so professionally done.

Nothing much has changed from concept to production form except for a few details. The EV’s exterior cameras make way for regular outside rear view mirrors, the DRL’s do not extend up into the bonnet and the split rear spoiler is now a single, smaller unit.

What Tata Tigor is to ICE, the Tata Curvv is the EV version!

Forget Creta, it is likely to do volumes rivalling Skoda's Kushaq/ VW Taigun!

Now awaiting the UNVEIL of the real First SUV Coupe on 2nd August.

The gold color scheme looks to be same as the one available in Safari Accomplished variants.

Curvv looks good from front and rear




Flush door handles seems to be illuminated


The rear connected tail lamps get some welcome or goodbye animations. If Tata follows feature set similar to Nexon, then these might be available only in top 2 variants


Panoramic sunroof is now there. The size looks similar to the one in XUV 3XO where the sunroof does not cover 2nd row completely and ends half way in the 2nd row.


The front is mix of Nexon and Harrier. The grill and headlamp housing reminds me of front fascia of facelift Harrier. The head lamps remind me of new Nexon.
