A good update for current owners and prospective buyers of pre-owned BMW Cars.

BMW will now extend the warranty unto 2 Years on selected Pre-owned vehicles, standard or extended warranty on which has lapsed subject to 360 Degree check by the dealer.

Enclosed are the details of the program. I got the prices for my 740, which looks reasonable.



The caveat is - up to 75 % of the costs of repairs will be borne by BMW, the rest and full labour by the owner :confused:

For any queries specific to your car, best will be to get in touch with the dealer who will give an appointment for 360 Degree, I have booked for mine and will update with progress.

Will they extend this facility to my 2012 Mini?
Of course they will be more than welcome to do a thorough inspection.

I remember BMW Mumbai dealers offering a 1-year comprehensive warranty on even 5 - 6 year old cars bought through them. Nothing beats Honda though. Their cars run forever, you can fix them at any garage and they offer 10-year extended warranty (on cars up to 7 years & 100,000 km which is still fabulous).

I was told that this extended warranty is not from BMW but from a third party partner. It it worth buying in that case? Planning to take it on 2021 330Li M sport.
