Hearty congratulations Nissan India, may be this milestone answers the question partially "Is Nissan leaving India?"

I really wish to see more models from Nissan, as showcased sometime back.

I have done its test drive, what a fun car. The turbo one. And has all the bells and whistles. Should have been selling more but probably the suspicion around its longevity is holding its sales.

Good to see Nissan back on track. Just want them to release more models across segments to stay afloat. Hope they do not just rely on one good selling model like some other brands do.

Can anyone shed any light as to when Nissan X-Trail is launching in India?
Last I remember it was expected to launch around Diwali.

Even I was pleasantly surprised with the test drive. The engine and CVT combo is just fantastic! Very responsive and predictable. Even with heavy throttle inputs the CVT lag is very minimal and predictable. Almost on par or faster than manual vehicles if you have downshift for an overtake maneuver. I had gone ahead and booked it 2 weeks ago. It's expected to arrive by Monday. (No other competitor had that performance and convenience at that price point).

I just hope they don't get complacent and sit on their laurels. They are a "one vehicle showroom" now. They need to increase the number of models and start introducing electric vehicles into their lineup in India.
