Do note that the Jimny has a wide turning radius of 5.7 m vs 5.2 m for the Elevate.

Lack of 6 airbags on VX variant a sure miss !

surely a VX (O) variant with 6 airbags between VX and ZX could have been offered.

Hope this worked out.

For instant Elevate cancellation Refund, I was asked to go this section of the website (which I could not locate on main website) by my Dealer.

Here you need to type in Order ID, and within 10 seconds money was refunded.

What exactly is a pre-booking? How does it get you in the offical que ahead of others v/s a regular booking?

I paid this a month and a half back when the Elevate was announced. Dealers were taking unofficial Pre-pre booking that time.

Dealers get the money I understand, how does it get you ahead in the official queue? Do they get a seperate login to register the so called pre-booking before the offical bookings open?

The SV variant seems interesting. LED projector headlights, ACC and push button start. But no audio system? Looks like they are aiming straight for the Creta 'E' buyers who take the car straight to Karol Baghify it. Looking at the bezels of the infotainment system, guess it woundn't be ugly like the Hycross base variants where one is forced to go for a aftermarket touchscreen system only. Hope they leave a slot where a 1-din system can fit in.

What about the govt. mandate on 6 airbags from October 2023?

Re: Honda Elevate Preview

I used to own a 2015 Honda City CVT and sadly enough, now 8 years later Elevate is still more or less the same car in a different package.
Honda is now what VW used to be.

Sadly it is only a leaked document and not part of the official brochure yet. Why is Honda so hesitant in deciding the trim-wise features? Will they decide it only after seeing how Kia prices the new Seltos? Honda's strategy seems defensive and it shows they are not really confident of their offering.

I was browsing online on the Elevate when I saw this.
Do note I use the DuckDuckGo search engine (which doesn't track you, unlike Google). I'm not sure why this is, but this doesn't show up when I search on Google.
If you actually open the link and go to "Check Price" on the top, it will show Honda City SV price as that exact same amount. So it is just how the search result showed up.

But then, may be Honda Elevate their senses and make it available at a mouth watering price (similar to what Bajaj-Triumph did with the Speed 400 pricing).
But then, let's not forget, it's a Honda we are talking about, very unlikely they will make it spicy for all of us. Fingers crossed.

Re: Honda Elevate Preview

Such a bland variant spread; typical Japs! Reserve everything for the top variant while don't even offer music system in the base variant!

Honda must be reeling under pressure when Kia released no of options with the Seltos! A Seltos for everyone vs Elevate for a few

Re: Honda Elevate Preview

In Typical Honda style , they are playing safe with features on offer.
The segment in which they WANT to compete in , it's all about features!
But I think a typical Honda customer doesn't fancy features anyways.
They think lesser the features less are the chances of faults.

So it will be like one who wants to buy Honda >> SUV, the Elevate would be their choice.
But for all others who just wants to buy a SUV, Elevate will be at the bottom of list, if at all it's on the list. IMO.

I am not sure whether this is a good strategy or not though.
