In my opinion, Citoren is launching too many cars in India and not studying the market enough. Why can't they improve on the cars they already have? All of them have so much potential if they just spec it right. But knowing Citoren India, it probably will be way too overpriced and not enough features to justify the price.

Though the company has not indicated any timeline for the C3X, it’s safe to assume that Citroen will maintain the same pattern of launching both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric versions within a six-month interval.

With the ICE version of the C3 Aircross due by July-August, the electric derivative of the SUV is likely to be launched in February 2024. Hence, the C3X should arrive around July 2024, with the electric version of the crossover sedan six months later in January or February 2025.

Looks good. Any new sedan is more than welcome by me. But Citroen has messed up in our market big time. So my expectations are low with them. I really hope they launch this after studying market properly. No need to waste good products just like that. This could be a product that might give them the much needed hold of market but then again sedan market is a dying market ATM and they messed up their SUV market.

Not sure if this clicks. Its not a SUV and not a great looking car for me. The panels on the body does not look sophisticated. Not so clean with not being straight or clean and rounded. The Orange colour too has been beaten to death by them and Renault on un-successful cars.

New spy pics from LATAM reveals hat Citroën C3 FastLounge (C3 X) will have a C3 Aircross interior.

SUV Coupé called Project CC22 for now will only arrive in the market in the second half of this year.

Basically, the third model in the C-Cube Program will be a C3 Aircross Coupé. For now, it is internally called Project CC22.The debut should only take place in the second half of the year, as industrial-scale production is expected to begin in August.

The name is not defined, but two alternatives are being studied, the C3 X or the C3 FastLounge . The brand will make official confirmation later.

The Citroën C3 FastLounge will be built on the CMP platform used by the C3 and C3 Aircross. Its measurements will be close to those of the seven-seater SUV, maintaining a wheelbase of 2.67 meters. It will be smaller than the 4.48 m of the VW Virtus, its measurements should be around 4.40 meters. Despite being smaller than his German competitor, he will be taller than his rival's 1.48 m.

The yet to be named Citroën's SUV Coupé is seen testing in various sizes and shapes of camouflages in Brazil and India.

At the launch of the C3 Aircross, Citroën's vice president in Brazil, Vanessa Castanho, said that the baptism of the new model will follow the brand's global standard. Following this logic, the SUV Coupe should be called C3 X, like the "brothers" C4 X and C5 X sold in Europe.

Regardless of the name, what we can see is that the model will be a C3 Aircross with a sportier footprint. From the front to the B-pillar are practically the same cars, although the coupe can receive changes in bumper details. That means the differences start to show up from the rear doors.

The spy pics shows the side of the C3 X, it is noticeable how much the shape of the doors changes to gain a steeper slope, which will follow the C-pillar.

Looks have not been the problem for Citroen in India. Neither was the engine. Its the 'in your face' blatant cost cutting and feature omissions.

They have been launching cars, back to back, with the same strategy and all have been facing the same fate. What their cars in the two most popular segments (4.3 metre and sub 4 metre) could not do, they should not expect from an unconventional coupe SUV / crossover sedan.

Yes, they can add features, for sure. But, certain bits like the door handles, plastics, switches also need to be upgraded.

Citroen is developing another model tailored for emerging markets, leveraging the underpinnings of the New C3 and New C3 Aircross. The forthcoming C3 X will feature a sedan body style, with the French brand integrating styling elements from crossover vehicles.

A prototype of the Citroen C3 X was spotted undergoing testing near the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia, despite the model being destined for markets like India and South America rather than Europe. The trick camouflage attempts to conceal the new compact sedan by giving it the appearance of an SUV, complete with a crude roof extension.

The production model is expected to combine the face of the New C3 with a liftback tail similar to the EU-market C4 X. It’s expected to feature higher ground clearance and plastic cladding for a more rugged appearance.

Citroen’s aims to offer an alternative contender to compete with the more conventional sedan rivals in the segment, such as the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and VW Virtus. The C3 X is expected to inherit the dashboard design from the New C3, featuring a prominent 10-inch infotainment screen positioned atop the center console.

The new member of the C3 family will most certainly ride on the tried-and-tested CMP architecture. It will reportedly debut with the turbocharged 1.2-liter PureTech three-cylinder engine producing 108 hp (81 kW / 110 PS), and a choice between a manual or a torque-converter automatic gearbox. A fully electric version is rumored to follow in 2025, likely mirroring the specs of the New eC3.

New Citroën C3X will be a crossover with midsize sedan space.





The third model in the C-Cubed line will be launched in the second half of the year and will be a midsize sedan with a fastback body, mimicking coupe SUVs.

In Brazil, the Citroën C3X crossover, as it should be called, will be above the Fiat Cronos, being able to face both sedans such as the VW Virtus, Hyundai HB20S and Chevrolet Onix Plus, as well as represent a a more affordable alternative to the Fiat Fastback and Volkswagen Nivus.
