Instead of getting features from global version, the one thing that can make this product a super star is getting the build quality from from the global version. No one wants to risk lives of their loved ones by buying a tin can KIA motors. Please fix it.

No one? Have you been looking at the sales charts?

And while it is easy to ask for thicker sheet metal, it would definitely not be possible with a facelift. Expecting that from an all-new generation would be reasonable.

I was also eagerly waiting for the launch but a trip in a friend's new Seltos's back seat has played spoilsport. I had read about the hard suspension but was not prepared for the actual effect of the hard suspension. My back was really tested and quite a difference from my Creta. I hope that something has been done about the suspension or else I will have to look elsewhere. In fact he had reduced the tyre pressure to 33 instead of the mentioned 35 but it was still really disconcerting. Sad since the rest of the package was perfect for me.

I received this very teaser video from my local dealer here in Hyderabad. Not sure what Kia is trying here, might be a teaser for all we know, definitely not the launch from what I can understand.

The cars they export has better inner shell. Only if they could use the same inner shell in this facelift :( Does anyone has info whether they are improving it ?

With panoramic sunroof coming in, if they provide same body shell as the current one, the body shell integrity would be even lower.

The new rear-end is inoffensive. A bit more familiarity with Carens from my point of view.

The front and side profile seem to have minor updates, it is the rear end which looks busy with lots of design elements and cuts and creases. Possibly the car looks better in the flesh rather than in the pictures posted here. Photo without a camouflage also likely confirms imminent launch of facelifted Seltos, which a dealer in Delhi mentioned as 15th of July this year.

Is it going to come in AWD? Saw a badge I think that says '4X' so not sure. If it does, well it is good. Hope Kia has done work on the body shell.

The badge says GT-line in the same front used in the EV6. So, likely no AWD in India spec models.

Also, we can see the difference in bumper design between GT-line (India Spec) and standard variants (International Spec). So, likely the non GT-line variants may look similar to the international spec.

This facelift GT-line model also has X-line spec 18-inch wheels, found on the pre-facelift model. We could also see the same non GT-line international spec wheel design on some of the camouflaged test cars in India. So, the non GT-line top variants are likely to have this wheel design.

I see the red accents from current gen's GT-Line are gone. Welcome that! But the body colored accents on the bumpers will take some time getting used to - especially the one's in rear.

Hoping the interiors are carried from international variants with the inclusion of more soft touch materials and wireless Android Auto & Car Play.

Let's just hope the suspension is tuned more reasonably otherwise the city rides might be difficult yet again.

On a side note I think the colored bits on the body cladding might look good in darker shades like their pearl black or on white.
