If I understand correctly, they are indeed considering bringing back the RDE Octavia but only after the Superb is relaunched.

The Octavia has long been an aspirational car for me. However it had the knack of forever remaining just beyond my financial reach. Last year while looking at options to replace my existing car, I had more or less narrowed down my options to a Slavia.

While the test drive for the Slavia was quite average a “lets just take a test drive” test drive of the Octavia resulted in a capricious purchase

I have driven nearly 10k KM on the vehicle in the last year and have enjoyed every moment of the drive. Sometimes they say that you should never meet your dream car - for the fear that it may disappoint.

No such disappointment here!
