Yes, seems like the Smart variants will be available only in Petrol, with a 5 speed MT. Pure will be available with 6 speed MT and AMT in Petrol, and only manual transmission for the Diesel powertrain. Creative and Fearless variants will get DCA option, and Diesel MT/AMT.
This may ensure that Tata can play in a wide price band. Base variant may start at 8 lacs, while the top end DCA variant may be priced over 15 lacs.

Interesting part is Petrol AMT mentioned in Pure variant, Earlier Maruti Suzuki used to offer AMT with base variant in Celerio but now they have also stopped, Let's see how premium TATA charges, Pure AMT can be VFM option if engine is not detuned and premium is not unreasonable for an AMT.

The car looks just "wow" in red. No chrome delete required as they removed all chrome except the logo. The red-black combo at the front makes it look killer. The progression of Nexon design from 2017 to 2020 to 2023 has been stellar.

Yes, its one pod for both high and low beams.
Also, the website has been updated.

Nobody speaking about Alloys. This is really sad design IMHO. Good alloys, Dimond cut alloys would have certainly improved looks more.
New updated takes Nexon closure to current harrier and safari. Overall, it is great update to a existing best seller and it will sure impact the competition. I think Tata will soon launch a EV version also with minor difference to front profile
The Nexon I wanted in 2019. Not for the features but the DCA. A lot of prospective customers like me had moved away due to lack of proper AT box in the petrol.
Good to see they continued with diesel. A TC/DCA with Diesel would have been awesome but I feel they didn’t want to invest in it considering diesels in general are on their way out from small cars anyways.
Overall this looks smashing and is feature loaded. Am sure will just strengthen TATA’s position further in the segment. :thumbs up
And kudos to TATA for keeping the sunroof optional for every variant. clap:
Wow...front profile of EV looks much better then the regular Nexon. Tata is going to have free run in EV market unless Mahindra XUV400 comes back in new Avatar !!

The first feature difference over ICE is visible. The front DRL is end to end connected.
FUTURISTIC is the only word to define the overall styling. Just Wow!!! Can't wait for the Black Edition.
Does anyone have pics of the rear for a lighter color? On the purple, it looks a bit too wide and disproportionate, but it seems to look nicer on the sea green model in one of the pics.
Love the front, looks very up-to-date and has an EV-like, futuristic appeal. The alloy wheels also have that EV-style fins. Reminds me of the finned wheels on Tesla that claim to lower wind resistance.
The Fearless Purple is truly for the fearless, especially with the matching purple interiors. Again, very futuristic, especially the lit steering wheel, the dual screens and the purple accents below the dash. The dual screens take the game upmarket and hands down this is the best looking interior in a sub 4m car. The ball's in your court now, Kia!!
Hope they offer a screen guard or PPF wrap to keep it scratch free. They can't use glass because of the airbags, so I assume it's plastic. If so, it's going to get scratched. I'm also wondering how they got the backlighting to co-exist with the airbag.

Does media drive cover EV also?
Looks smashing, especially in that purple colour. I think this will look the best in white DT and the dark edition. I wish they'd have fixed the raked window line as well in this facelift but I guess that's reserved for a major facelift, perhaps under the new modular platforms.
Nexon EV in dark edition with the connected headlamps will look killer. Great job, Tata. Futuristic without looking weird.
The de-chromed Red with black accents and roof surely looks dope :thumbs up

On second thoughts no colour looks bad on this just like Virtus :)
