Is it the lighting or does it have purple interiors?

So, MotorOctane on YouTube had shared a few days ago that the reviews will go live on 6th and for EV on 11th with prices coming around 14th.
Didn't expect it would be spot on.

From what I read, the interior colours would match the exterior.
But it also be that the signature purple colour gets purple interiors while all of the rest get the same colour scheme.

What sad choice of interior colour! PURPLE?? Seriously TATA ?? :Frustrati

Nexon gets driver assist! Not sure whether this is just a passive feature or ADAS.

Also the MID can show navigation along with legible speed and gear indicator on the bottom corners, a good feature list considering how bad was TATA on the features segment.

And this purple black seats looks gorgeous and kind of upmarket

All eyes and hopes on the pricing now;)

Here you go. Variant wise features below.
Seems like we'll have the option of both AMT and DCA in the same variant. Let's hope that they nail the pricing.

Its actually purple IMO. I hope its limited only to the purple exterior!

On a side note, it's been said this colour depicts sexual frustration.

Wow! I was not sure whether I really liked the design changes initially seeing the spy/leaked pictures but after the unveil & more better pictures, I can say that this thing is surely a looker. The colours/ Interiors are quite tacky (May not match everyone's taste) and I believe Tata is primarily targeting the young millennials. A dark edition of this would be droolworthy. It has got everything in place to carry on the success of Nexon brand with all the new features addition. If priced correctly with a slight premium of say~50K, there is no particular deal breaker in this iteration in my opinion & one can expect very high waiting period. I hope Tata has upped their QC levels with this facelift though.

I like what they have pulled off on the design front, however, some ergonomic issues remain

- I was secretly hoping they would have addressed the hard plastic on the rear door armrests, soft padding on the door pads for some unknown reason are not extended to the area where one would ideally rest one's arm/elbow, this wasn't designed well since the launch and is not fixed with the second facelift either!

- No place for cup holders on the center console, guess the wireless charger was prioritized over this, I would have preferred a cup holder instead of the big rotary mode selector which could have been a smaller toggle switch somewhere on the dash, I guess they somehow want to offer the Land Rover/Range Rover mode selector connection with this

Also, this was a good opportunity to launch the new petrol GDI engine and lead from the front, it doesnt make sense to keep it exclusive for the Curvv as we see same engines being used by multiple manufacturers across segments successfully.

Tata has upped it's game big time. But the interior purple colour scheme will definitely raise some eyeballs. Overall the car looks much sharper and the interior looks like Tata has taken a minimalist approach with clean layout.
Still I'm unclear on where the horn pad is.

Facelifted Tata Nexon looks good IMHO, inside out.

Definitely will retain the crown as the sales champion in the sub-compact crossover segment.

So many powertrains to choose from, i.e. Diesel, Petrol and EV, choice of manual and automatic.

Plenty of variants (although confusing) to fit your budget.

What's not to like! Well done Tata.

Here are the various color options for the new Nexon.

Seems like fog lamps are reserved for top fearless variant only? Or do creative/creative+ also get it?

Smart move by Tata - that one feature everyone wants i.e. Sunroof is optional right from Pure variant.

Can someone please confirm, if even the steering buttons are soft touch or are they physical buttons?

Hope atleast these are physical buttons. So many electronics, and Tata's poor history with electronics, does not really make it reassuring.

I liked the navigation display integration in the MID. Also do they look like using Google maps? That's another feather in it's cap.

Negatives for me remain the lack of cup holders in the centre console. They prioritized the Rotary dial and wireless charger for the cup holders!

Also not really fan of the front design. They tidied up the rear somewhat, but also spoilt the front and side looks. Current Nexon looks way better from the front.

May be this is driver drowsiness detection system which Tata implemented in its Truck lineup? Here is the campaign.
