The distance between the rear door glass and the rear windshield that has the C pillar is longer and the roof rails end earlier. That clearly shows the extended rear end. It seems elongated Nexon.
That's because this facelift will have sheet metal changes too. New tailgate and that new extended spoiler to hide the rear wiper.

Actually airbags deploy like this as shown below, so I think there wont be any problem with the illuminated logo. Image sourced from the forum itself.

Good to know that this is the new Nexon. Is there any confirmation if there are any changes to the gearbox especially the automatic? Can we expect a proper TC? Or the same AMT?

Guess Tata has too much of instrument clusters lying around. Didn’t they just used a new one in harrier and safari updates?

Likely a DCT with paddle shifters, paired with the new GDI engine.

Can anyone notice the difference?
This seems to be the Curvv or the Frest as the rear over hang seems to be longer than the current Nexon. Looks like the length of the car could be above 4.15 meters as much as the XUV400. Even the rear wheel cladding is much thicker than the current Nexon. Rear end seems flat in the Nexon but it seems protruding or curved out, as the LED strip that connects both break light assemblies can be seen up to the logo from the side. Also, the C pillar seems wider than the current Nexon, if you observe the edge of the rear window panel to the outer edge of the rear windshield.
The rear overhang doesn't seem to be big enough to give up on lower tax bracket. This might be the optics (or camouflage packaging) due to a very slight difference in the angle of both pictures? While the current Nexon pic is more or less aligned with the back of the car, the spy pic is - ever so slightly - from the back as you can see the rear LED strip running along the back. If it was taken at exactly the same angle, we might not have been able to see horizontal LED strip and just the edge of tail lights.

If you look at the exposed part of the C pillar in the latest spy pics, the design of the window kink has changed, looks like C pillar will be body colored.

WOW! That should make things very interesting in the cSUV segment!

How's the reliability of the Wet clutch DCA on the Altroz? Are there any long term (like more than 50,000 km) reports?

re: Tata Nexon Facelift launch in September 2023

Tata should consider adding below things in new Nexon (at least top variants) :
1. UV cut glasses
2. 6 airbags

Tata Motors is testing the compact SUV since a long while with a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that will be offered with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo engine is likely to produce around 125 PS of power.

Apart from these prominent mechanical updates, the Indian carmaker will also be offering heavily revised exterior and interior.

What I am interested in is, will it make its way to the diesel? Will give a strong competition to the Sonet, which enjoys a monopoly with Diesel Auto in subcompact SUV's.

re: Tata Nexon Facelift launch in September 2023

Can someone help me understand - why are so many new cars coming with DCT. Tata with its Altroz DCA and now the Nexon. I wonder why automakers cannot launch TC or CVT versions. Harrier & Safari already have TC. With the reliability issues in DCTs, wouldnt it be prudent to stick with TC/CVT? Maybe I am missing something.
Even Venue & Sonet petrol automatic come only with DCT. Skoda and VW have their higher end versions with DSG. I believe MG also has DSG in its lineup.

We are talking about small capacity engines with turbo lag or a weak low end. TCs by design sap a bit of power. Reliability is higher but so is the transmission loss. Fine with large capacity or high power applications but not in small cars.

CVTs are good for smaller engines, especially for city cars.

Hyundai and VW are using dry clutch DCTs. While performance is brisk and losses are minimum, reliability is suspect. Tata has done one better, the DCA is a wet clutch system that runs cooler and is more reliable. I am yet to come across any instance of an Altroz DCA gearbox giving trouble. Of course, that is on the limited volumes the Altroz DCA does in the first place. Ideally, this gearbox should have been made available in Punch as well since Day 1.
