2023 Hyundai Venue priced from Rs 7.68 lakh

Hyundai has made some changes to the Venue for the 2023 model year. The most significant of them all is the introduction of the more powerful 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Creta. As a result, prices of the car have been revised. It now starts at Rs 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom).

On the outside, the 2023 model is based on the Venue facelift that was launched last year. It features the revised front chrome grille with split headlamps on either side and redesigned tail lamp clusters.

Speaking of features, the 2023 Venue comes in five variants: E, S, S(O), SX and SX(O). The top two variants get side airbags, while features like reclining rear seats, rear-seat armrest and cup holder have been deleted from the SX diesel trim.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Venue priced from Rs 7.68 lakh

What is the price difference between Venue old 1.5L 100 PS Diesel Engine and the new 1.5L 115 PS Diesel Engine?
If they priced the same as the old price then it is a stunning decision by Hyundai but Hyundai missed the opportunity to provide the Diesel AT here.

Can we expect the same 1.5L 115 PS Diesel Engine in the i20 without a hike in price?

Might cannibalize the Sonet D AT sales. But it'd be an attractive proposition to a lot of people (like me) who loves the supremely good D AT.

I found the Venue prices when launched last year June 2022.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...ml#post5338320 (The Hyundai Venue N Line & Facelift. EDIT: 2022 Venue facelift launched at Rs. 7.53 lakh)
  1. Diesel price hiked between 15k to 20K
  2. 1.0 Turbo petrol hiked almost 40K in each variants
  3. 1.2L petrol hiked between 14k to 22K
So, We can conclude major price hiked only in turbo variants. No major price difference in 1.5L 100PS vs 1.5L 115PS

The Kia Sonet D AT is still an excellent value for money proposition though with the same being retailing at 12.55 Lakhs ex showroom which is just 93K more than the Venue SX retailing at 11.62 Lakhs. Additionally, the same gets more kit and has better interiors when compared to the Venue (Semi Leather upholstery, Paddle shifters, Drive Modes, Sun Blind etc.)

As my source clarify for not having diesel AT in Venue while the same is available in other offerings or sibling Sonet for that matter, this has been a weird decision taken by the HMG-Global product team for allocating AT only to Kia in SUB 4M SUV and there has been multiple appeals made to introduce in Venue but there has been no positive feedback .

On the i20 front Hyundai has already pulled the plug with last i20 Diesel production in Dec'22. Going forward it will be available in 1.2K & 1.0T engine only.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Venue priced from Rs 7.68 lakh

115 PS in venue is a welcome move. I hope to see a review on this.

If there's a straight forward reason for not providing a diesel auto, it's just that it would affect the sales of Creta. Given that half the Creta sales are from diesel, if the venue is introduced with a diesel auto, a good chunk of the creta auto diesel customers would convert to Venue (given the tax benefits, the price difference would be considerable). Some people would prefer a smaller car which would seem more powerful. I am not entirely sure about the diesel mix in the seltos sales.

Hyundai India updated the 1.5L 115PS Diesel Engine Prices on their website.https://www.hyundai.com/in/en/click-to-buy/prices
Petrol Prices are the same as in the previous post. Diesel Prices are different.

2023 Hyundai Venue priced from Rs 7.68 lakh-prices.jpg

So, the Diesel price is hiked between 39.5K to 70K.we can pay an additionally 39.5K to 70K to get the 1.5L Diesel 115 PS

Request To Moderator: Please correct the Diesel Prices in the post.

The 1.0L Turbo petrol power is reduced from 120PS to 108PS in Venue-N-Line or its Typo error.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Venue priced from Rs 7.68 lakh

Am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but:

Is there any disadvantage to buying the 2022 Venue stock as dealer says you can avoid the waiting period ?

Am fine with any of the venue mid level Turbo variant in any color except red/blue (basically any shade of grey from white to black).

Will the same advice will work for Creta entry level variant EX ?
